Hi all!!!
I have the Logitech DiNovo MediaDesktop 2.0 that has its own hub bluetooth (version 1) integrated with mouse charger. The Logitech software called Setpoint (v. 2.22) installs Widcomm driver version 3, but I want to install version 5 (I know all instructions about to install them manually) but after removed the old driver, and installed the new one, Windows (xp sp2) sayes that no bt hardware were found and no bt installer could be launched. And so my keyboard and mouse stop responding... so I must unplug the bt hub and plug it again to get them function.
So, what can be the right procedure of installation?
And then, I bought a bt dongle with Broadcom chip to get maximum speed from its bt 2.0 version, can I install it with Logitech bt hub? Can they operate at the same time? And can Widcomm driver support them at the same time in the same installation?

Thanks for all your answare.

Install Setpoint 2.6 w.o bt (restart)
install Widcomm drivers
Install Setpoin 2.6 w. bt.
(restart)

You need to take the drivers from the 2.6 w. bt installer. So check your temp dir when you run the installer. Don't hit next or anything just take the drivers and cancel.

Susa below the instalation instuction:
1) Install Setpoint 2.2 DON'T RESTART !
2) Install Widcomm 5.x.x.x - While installation procced you see a question: "The BT device not found - for continue press CANCEL" - PRESS IT
3) Restart and continue logitech installation process (It install logitech wireless bt hub)
:)
But I recommended the setpoint 2.44 minimum (SP 2.2 has some bugs).

Hello All. :D
I have an Hp NC 6000 notebook w/ built in BT. I also have diNovoMediaDesktop w/ hub/charger and media remote, etc... I can experience ALL advanced features by using Setpoint 2.60.601 and Widcomm 5.1.0.1100. And I don't have to have the hub plugged in either! The new software is'nt affected like the old, at least for ME. Thank You Logitech! Just Install the Widcomm version post here http://www.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=294359 and install. Second Download Logitech version from here http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1796,contentid=11020 and install. Good Luck!
