As quality Glass IC not available in the market, please post jumper solutions for insert sim, display, memory card corrupted, keypad, etc., of various models in this one thread for easy reference.

use SIM ESI filter from the 8310. they are available in the market and 100% ok.

these IC is to protect the main IC like UPP/UEM or RAP3G/OMAP from damage caused by electro static spikes. these spikes can range from few volt to few hundred (thousand) volts in some case.

jumpering the IC is putting the phone at risk of serious damage in the future.

so be professional with your customers phone, and replace with a like component.

do you know where there the location of that simcard protector?if so use ameter to measure from the simcard to the groundpoints.if you get all line just remember how you loop the other phones.then you will never ask again.sir.regards

Not practical to do jumper. Just use any other WD2 phone MMC's Emi filter (glass ic ) as replacement ..

3100 buzzer IC; mostly all other Nokia IC's will do.
Ngage LCD display Driver; )Other Nokia Display Drivers, K300,K500,K700 Keypad IC will do. 3230,6260,N70,6630,6680 keypad IC will also do.
6600 Keypad filter; 7610,3650,etc will do.

that is not a glass ic.those are ESD protected ic's.if you jumped it then some times it will be harmful to UEM and processor.the best thing to do for those faults is replace that ic by buying that ESD ic from your closet available market, because those ic's are available in almost
all markets.
