D500 Dead !!!

Hi;
Flashed my d500 using corona downloader to get rid of the horrible orange branding and to make it sim free on monday night.

Worked a treat, orange branding gone, but still locked to orange !!

Flashed it again with diffrent firmware on tuesday, it got to 70% done and just froze...... Phone looks dead !!!!

Will not power on, will not charge will not connect to pc..... its just dead.

Phone battery is reading 3.8v so its charged, internal battery is reading 0v so i tried shorting out method on internal battery and still nothing.

Help needed before the wife kills me !!!:confused:

flash with HWK 100000% ok i had tfs flash boudrate error i was selected manulay baudrate all one by one but problum still HWK solve my problum flash first time without any breacking

Is the phone still connecting to corona?
If yes format Namd and erase flash first, then download software again.
And changing firmware will not unlock your phone. if you secceed to bring back your D500 to life you have to unlock it using aother software like HWK or Winimei or .........

How do you connect normally to corona? do you use power supply? if yes maybe high voltage came while connecting or flashing and one of the ICs got burned. It happened with me before.

So remove the board from the phone, connect it to charger alone and wait for a few seconds and check if anything on the board is getting hot and post result.

i have cable not support in power suplly directly work perfect
but my problum solved HWK cracked

Managed to get it to connect to Corona again by pressing the power on button when inserting samsung battery back in slot on back.
Managed to flash with D500XAEB1 but the mobile is still locked to orange.
Any ideas ? Also where to get hwk ?

Do you want to buy HWK just to unlock your phone, does notmake sence. unless you work in mobile repairs.
Anyway you can buy it online, it's available on many websites

No. Just need to be able to unlock orange d500 now. It is the new version from march 2005 though so the old code does not work......Any ideas or codes ???
Does corona unlock network ? if so how ?

No, Corona can not unlock. and if you don't want to buy any box just pass by any GSM shop in your country and they will unlock it for you.
It'smuch cheaper then buying any box

if unlocking software doesn't respond to the phone (after disconnecting the phone battery and re-inserting), then try with corona to flash new unbranded firmware etc first....if corona doesn't respond and you know your cable (and battery if applicable) is ok then you need to either try with a hardware solution like usb-smart etc to re-flash the phone.

If no tools you use get any respond from the phone (providing your following the instructions of course) then try removing the internal battery for 10 minutes and replacing again :D (this requires hot air or soldering iron (with skill))>
