Hello, everybody, i have samsung d500 with white screen. Display is good, ribon is good, all connectors are soldered good. I don't know where can i look at more:confused: ? Its very strange.

its no hevi porblam
its strip porblam you cheng strip

U can check Charging jack and keypad clean these area and make software again
I noticed that phone cover has mark of fall. And it works strange, when i turn it on display is white, i hear start up sound. When i make call to this phone it sometimes rings sometimes no. When i try ti make a call from it, it sometimes works, sometimes restarts. Is it not only white screen problem:( Who had this problem? What chip should i replace? I scare to change glued chip.

and new board for the display
nothing helps...

I have clearned the board, but the same, display is white and phone hangs, restarts...
May be should i try to take out u305?

i have the same problem too i have removed the pcb board and put it into a 100% working d500 and i still get the white screen in both phones using this same board so i am 100% sure its not a ribbon or lcd problem also as a precaution i treated the board for water ingress and still white screen and the board has also been heated .... still got a white screen using this pcb so i guess its a hardware fault ??
it is said a 100 times. but the problem is flex-cable and connector. it took me 3 hours and 57 tries to fix it. i also tried on different fones but you have to check carefully the connector and the flex. try to put it in and not push it to the end. try to make it stable with tape. this how it works for me.

i studied my phone very well yesterday and did comparison with a gud phone,only to find out thatmy ribbon and screen are fine and good,plssss somebody help me.

hi!
try its not flex connector.try 2 flash ur fone using NS PRO instead of UST PRO n it shuld work.if it doesnt then problem is cpu.try2 reflow it.if it still the same then cpu needs 2 be replaced n that depends on how good u r 2 do it.

ok i will try the software and also reflowing option,and post back.
well i m sure its not flex cable the ribbon i mean and not the top board or lcd.. cause i have tried the board of this phone with another work top board and its still white..
its something worng with its bottom board..
cleanin and rehot the board is not workin. and someone here tired reflashing thats not workin too..
waiting for the real solution here mate.. ;)

I have exactly the same problem with D600
phone is brand new, white screen is result of flashing with UST PRO :-(
it is not hw problem, it is software problem

basically when D500 display white screen, its the flex.be calm and replace with good flex,making sure there is NO bend or crack.if it shows white,then go on hardwaer,"rehot" pcb.post result. good luck.

Yup, its definitely a hardware problems, try to resolder or change the lcd connector and resolder the surrounding ICs. Only few success rate =(

j'ai le meme problem .tout est good le flex et les connectors .mais quand je presse sur la carte mere l'ecran s'affiche et quand je laisse de forcer elle devienne blanche
je sais pas d'ou vient le problem

change the flexi flex cable this will fix the problem, only £1.90
D500 screen problems? Then consider changing the Flexi PCB (ribbon). This is a common failure as the ribbon can suffer wear as the phone slider opens and shuts. Eventually the ribbons become worn and often this results in a screen failure. Changing the ribbon can cure this in most cases... We advise that a new ribbon is added when the screen is changed it’s a good way to service this type of part. So if you do have a screen problem including a screen failure then consider changing this part before you spend good money on a screen.
Please note that no soldering will be required. The ribbon clips into the internals of the phone (note how you take the old one out) by a "lock and clip" method. Take care when opening and closing as these can be flimsy.
Notes: The image below shows both sides of the Flexi PCB and is there for information purposes only, note that we are supplying one single unit as the phone uses only one flexi pcb not two as shown.

I have a problem where I have replaced the ribbon and it works fine until I replace the back cover, where I get white screen again. I remove back cover and test it by holding the battery on the PCB and the screen works fine, so I replace the back cover again and it is white screen again.
Is the back cover pressing onto something where it shouldn't be?

yes flash with (UST-pro2) and 100% works
just remove vision ic ( MV319 )and install again
its work 100%
i slove this problem about 70th
my X640just hang at startup logo this happend when i rehot the pcb boardbecause the phone can't read sim only when you press the cpu.
now,i can't flash the phone with ufs it can't boot.

Hello Dear colleagues!
Just I have another problem regarding the LCD.
The phone still continuously with top keyboard lighted and when power it up the phone start in normal way but when goes to press any button the LCD goes to white and nothing is shown on it. All other functions are OK, the phone send and receive everything, it ring normally but nothing is shown on LCD until restart the phone. The Only moment that the phone LCD is OK is the first moment when it switch on. I think the problem is on main block, because I have inserted it on another LCD module with other flex and the problem was the same. Can someone give me any idea for this problem.
