Lets share information about name of cables for which phones support for download. For example cable of x100 supported models for download are e715, x600, e700 ect. The calbes are C100, X100, X430 AND D500. T100 [Ttrue I] support in its cable only. So lets push up this useful thread. ;)

cable v200 ( EasyGPRS ) works in v200 , x200 , c200 , x120 ...etc for ringtone
and works in aotpi flasher for software under XP :)
cable T100 works with N620, T400 , T500 ... ets for tone
and under its own prog for sowftware ( at moust downloader )
cable E700 works with E710, E715 , X100 , x600 .... etc for tone
and under its own program for flash ( at moust downloader 7.x )

i have universal box too .. i just can use it for N620 and T100 onley ring tone
you need to modifi the cable with external powersubly or some changes insaid by shorts some other leges ... i can bost all modification cuse you will distroy your universalbox .. so forget it and buy stand allon cable for customization :)

can anyone tell me which local cable from the market works for c200 and x200 ?
i dont want to buy the original cables ..
is that possible to use the local market cables ?

Yes cable of x430 and x600 100% works for c200 and x200 which are still not original.

many types of x600 cable
easy gprs latest
what should be the speed setting ?
what should be the cable driver name ? my is (Prolific USB to serial)
please help me ..
and if possible please also show me the picture of the cable //

your cable may be bad because it usually happens in samsung cables. Dont think about driver problem or xp service pack problem and u can use cell phone manager or mobiledit for that.

i have 3 cables and all r new , and i havent use them once , so how can all those cable are faulty..
can u tell all the default settings which r applied while connection the cable and software ?
port speed ?
and does this prolific driver works for them?
and please try to give a picture of ur cable //

i have seen the original cable for this x160 and it is a serial cable , so i think that usb cable will not work for x160 , i am trying for a serial cable from the local market , then i think it should work...
anyone having it ...?

I have samsung x160 and i use a USB data Cable for uploading and for using internet on PC.The name of cable is DSU7.You can easily buy it(costs only 200-250rupees).
