d500 lcd connector clip

hi all

need your help and advice guys...have managed to break lcd connector clip that resides on pcb and cant seem to find suitable spare..is there some other way to secure or where can i get replacement?

Good question, does anyone have any clever solutions to this. Not broken one in a while but it does happen.

You can take two clips from SGH 800 / Sgh 820....you can make one clip with this two. The clips are a little bit smaler than the original from D500, but it works fine. Press carefully both in the connector.

thanks for the reply guys..have managed a temporary repair using old ribbon
...have cut up ribbon ends to suitable size and used them to replace clips..seems to be working fine so far
