Hey All, Has anyone had any dealings with the UK internet company FoneFunShop? :mad: I just had a horrid experience with them. I ordered a dual sim card and before receiving it I found a better card that worked on my razr phone allowing me to have two telephone numbers without having to turn off the phone. Anyhoo I contacted PhoneyFunShop about returning the item and asked for instructions. Heard nothing (it was like crickets). Once I received the package I just covered up my address with a label and wrote their address and sent it back. I waited for a week and a half sent them a second email to see if they received the return and once again the crickets. I sent a third email asking for someone to reply to my emails and look into the status of my refund and return and for the third and final time there were those darn crickets. Now the fourth email I sent was venomous with all the anger and annoyance that had been simmering and of course that email got a response the jest of which was we don't know what you are talking about. I would never ever ever deal with PhoneyFunShop again. If you are not in the UK hope that you don't have to call them on their bogus refund policy because they will keep there stuff and your money and you will just be left hearing the crickets across the pond.:(

Returns Policy
We operate a 28 days return period as explained below.

All the products on sale from FoneFunShop have met our high quality-control standards. However, if you find a defect with any product purchased, please e-mail us at:-

support@fonefunshop.co.uk

Goods which are defective on receipt can be returned for a full refund or replacement. Goods found to be defective within 28 days will be replaced.
Goods found to be tampered with by the customer will not be replaced, but will be returned at the customer's expense.

We do not operate a try before you buy policy. If you wish to return goods which are not faulty, we will accept the return providing the goods are in a good clean condition suitable for re-sale in the original packaging and having not been used. These goods can be exchanged for other products, subject to the difference in costs being addressed along with a postage fee, or refunded, less postage and packing. A handling fee of 15% will be made. However any unlocking clips, debranding packs, unlock packs, spyphones, stealthphones or any other one time use items are exempt from this, as our policy is not to supply these types of items to be used by the customer then returned for refund or exchange, unless found to have a manufacturing fault.

Refunds by credit card are made to the same credit card that was used for the purchase.

The above conditions are in addition to your statutory rights which are not affected.



It sounds to me that you just found a different product and then the one that you ordered turned up, so you just wrote the address on the pack without any explanation to what or why it was being returned!

Also on the site there is a phone number- may i suggest that you call it instead of creating venomous and annoyed comments?
Fone fun shop has been in business probabley alot longer than you have been using a mobile phone- if you continue to look at the comprehensive site then you will see that they are listed as shop safe, but also are registered resellers for many of the topics and products that are listed on this forum.
I do not think that they would have been acredited with such if they were as you describe on here as the phoney fun shop??????

I shall sumise for you
1- look at the returns policy and see if you fully conformed to the terms?

2- call them and speak to them

I have had many dealings with fonefun shop and find them to be proffesional.

By your post you bought the goods then may have found another item somewhere else and decided that you dont want thiers. always read returns policy . if its not faulty but you just dont like it then thats a hard life. if everyone did that we would all be out of buisness I also operate non cash refund if you just dont wont the goods anymore.

Well I have used them once to buy a clip which I paid for instantly with Paypal and after waiting for it to come after a week nothing so I emailed them and they said I havent paid, so I mailed them a copy of the Paypal transaction and they said we will post it to you then. Still took another 4 days to get here after that. No apology for their error, and dont even bother trying to phone them (five times over 20 mins on hold then gave up).

Seems you did not cohere to their returns policy mate, so how do you expect them to adhere to yours??

Why didn't you put a note in with the package with your own details and a note explaining that you no longer needed this item and could they please provide a part refund for the item.

I am sure Mick would have processed this refund in a matter of hours upon the receipt of the item, but you got the crickets and decided to make your own returns policy, so why should he then be obliged to co-operate with you?

First off....BladeGSM. If Mick or Mark choose not to respond to emails once they get your money there is nothing I can do about that. I actually sent PhoneyFunShop five emails and everrrrrrrryyyyyy single email was ignored. Several to sales@phoney, mick@phoney and support@phoney. SO... I'm unaware of what your Blink Before Thinking is referring to. Please Get A Clue. I had no intention of calling phoneyfunshop long distance from the States. They respond quick enough if you have a question on making a purchase!!! I did read the bogus refund policy and would have had no problem of being charged a re-stock fee/charge but I didn't expect a supposely established business to just keep all my money but HEY they must be in need of monies and will take it by any means necessary. I've already told them what I think of them and if they are that desperate for funds then let them keep it. It is the principle with me if they don't want to honor their bogus refund policy then don't offer it!!!

do you have a teacking number or a proof of the parcel being signed for?

I'm filing a claim with Paypal's buyer protection. You are some pathetic Mother ****ers for a lowly $45 USD. If Paypal has to reimburse me you're lowly organization will have a strike with them. You broke *** MoFooos!!! I've informed them that I returned these items unopened back to your pathetic organization in March and have not received my refund or replies to my numerous emails since Feb.

FoneFun...You can act like you don't know what the deal is but you and I both know what is up!! Keep the little $40bucks. You obviously must need it!!! There was never ever any response from your company when I emailed Mark the End of February that I was returning it and requested instructions.. then no response when I emailed if it was received in March and finally no response from anyyyyyyy of your pathetic staff to acknowledge my third email requesting someone to let me know something. I finally got a reponse when it was the last straw with me and I sent an email in which I cussed all of you out!!! I tried three times to be professional with your company but that obviously does not work with you. Anyone who deals with PhoneyFun I suggest you document everything, send everything certified and take a picture because if Phoneyfun can steal from you they will. FoneFun... play crazy play dumb if you wish but you and I know the deal and what comes around goes around. And if you are going to respond to my posting don't lie. Ok. Can you at least do that!! Once I pressed send on that fourth email I knew I was donating my monies to your phoney organization but bump that I was not going to let you just abuse the situation and grin and bear it!!

I have been sharing my fonefunshop ripoff story over the Internet and thus far it has been quite interesting. Others have shared their negative experiences with your company as well. I will be monitoring the various boards and telling folk what they need to do to get you suspended from using Paypal because you really should not be having business dealings with people in the States because you seem to feel that they can't do anything about it when you chose to STEAL from them. (BrokeBackAsses) I've posted that you must be a needy company and I just made a donation to the UK fund! Slag is that an English insult? (HaHaHa Sometimes your sayings are so dumb!!)

FoneFun you are pathetic as I have said and I don't feel you should be dealing with people who can't confront you. I can share your email in which you called me a slag but I don't really care what you have say about me because I have the truth on my side!! I feel violated and disgusted by my dealing with you and hope to help others avoid my experience.

Wait a second. I buy only from fonefunshop. They are gr8 ppl very helpful. 100 % trusted. Guyz activated my boxes at X-mas damn i felt ashamed then for sending them emails while they were celebraiting with familly and friends, I would recomend them to all. If a cable was missing they send it to me. Free of charge. I really have to say that they have the best service & support. Next week i will be buying from the for over 500£. They deserve every penny. Mark whom you call a thief is wonderful guy really fun to deal with. Very helpful as well.
@Yabba 2000 i think you should think a couple of times b4 insulting these good ppl man i buy from them each to time for atleast 500 £. no problems at all.

My mother told me that manners cost nothing- and Yabba certainly has his own idea of how goods should be returned and followed up- but unfortunatley it is not the correct one:rolleyes: He considers that his own returns policy to be correct!!
Sorry maybe everyone who deals on the internet should employ him to ensure that they can change rules to suit every customer???

As for you emails- well if that is the your attitude then i would also disregard them and just assume that you have someone with certain problems using the computer.
Mick/fonefun shop is a good guy- but he is not a mind reader to why goods have been returned, let alone know that you had purchased other goods elsewhere but mostly - How could he predict that you were unable to read the returns policy that is easily available to read on his web site!

Beats me why you would want a twin sim anyway, as you seem to alienate yourself in all sorts of ways, so you would not need 2 sims to call/text your friends!

we have not received your package back 100000%

we have asked you for a tracking number and you still do not tell us this.

you cannot expect any company to refund your payment because you said it has been returned can you?

No package returned = no refund

especially if u bought some thing then try returning it for no real reason we get scum like u in all day long wow u found a better 1 or wow i get it 2 quid cheaper else were so wat u bought it here its ur fault u didnt look around first not theres grow up .

this thread has even no reason to exist, fonefunshop is one of the old boys here, never ever done anything wrong, just buying and selling properly, always there to help, and very nice guys

there should be no s.hit gived by a total new member in here to those respectable guys, even not by an old one, in 6 years, i seen them 3 times in this section, 2 of them were due to misunderstandings and fastly fixed, the 3rd is that stupid thing.

to the starter of this thread : provide tracking number and shut the f.uck off, as it seems to be the only kind of language you can understand!!!
