i dont think you can fix that by flashing the phone , PA is damaged thats why when you get a signal or phone registers to network phones restarts , there is nothing to do with the software reheat PA or remove and power phone you will notice phone will not restart because the damaged PA is removed

PA means Power Amplifier The network IC
Hi,
The PA that is being refered to is the Power Amplifier the intergrated IC that would amplify the signal that is coupled/mixed with the converted data and transmit it via the coax connector through the antennae through the open air to the nearest base tranciever station(GSM Network). It has typically got a silver cap or is black in colour (all contact point would be under thecomponent) and close to it will be a duplexer also typically silver in colour with about 6-8 legs/contact points. In terms of Motorola it would be under a RF (Radio Frequency) metal shield which you you would have to remove first using a hot air station and a cardfull approach. Remember hovever that affter replacement of this component the mobile would have to be re-callibrated/re-phased to suit the amplication carachteristics of the new amplifier.
Cheers.
