Hey guys I can't seem to install my card correctly. It's not recognized by windows by default but it is included in the widcomm 5.0.1.2500 drivers as supported.
The method I've tried so far is this:
I added my hardware ID (USB\Vid_044e&Pid_3001) into the bth.inf file.
Then I installed the Widcomm package with the card off. Patched the files with the patcher v2, then allowed windows to install its drivers for the ALPS card (i put it in the alps section of the bth.inf file).
Then I went into device manager and changed the driver for the device to be the widcomm drivers. It all seemed to work fine because My Bt Places worked and the software recognized the card, but whenever i tried to Add a Device or search for bt devices it says "No Local Bluetooth Device was detected".
Help Please?
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
P.S. The last file of the patcher (wbtapi.dll) wouldn't patch.
