Hi,
I have Nokia 3230 mobile. I installed many application in my mobile.
I need to hide few of the installed application from the Menu.
I tried with the FExplore but i cant do it.
Is there any other way to do so.

X/system/apps/rename applications,which you want to hide.
EX: C or E/system/apps/smartmovie ----->rename E/system/apps/smartmovieAAA.Icon Smartmovie will hide on desktop menu.HAVE FUN

most easy way
u just change the extension ".app" that will hide the icon
for example
E:/system/apps/smartmovie.app
u just put something like this
"E:/system/apps/1smartmovie.app"
or anything u want
its work to hide icon
to unhide icon,u just rename them to the as ready

Yes i can do it. But that application will auto start when ever the phone is restarted. So if the .app is renamed then during start up it is not starting. IS there any other way to do so.

i'ts simple,if u have a lot of icons in menu just create a folder in order to place some icons there.i have done like this in my nokia 6600 and i've let out of my folder only fexplorer,camcorder the antivirus and pvplayer that i use most frequently.

No. I dont want the icon to be viewable from the Menu also in folders. Instead i need to hide them from the menu. Also if we rename the components then it will be hidden from the menu. But that application is a autostart application at the time of phone boot up. At that time the renamed application failed to load. Pl clarify.
