If your phone is hot something is in short, please ceck battery contact if in short you have to open phone and ceck for liquid damage, if liquid is ok ceck ic power or PA probably one of them is faulty.;)

*to make sure which part is more consume high power, u need to seperate the flip part or LCD part for accurate measurements.*

- check for resistance at battery pin. if consume high current (200mA-400mA)when is not power on ,mostly on PA or Power supply part or CPU(the worst)

-check for overall current consumption when it is in stanby mode (normally 15mA) when EL light is off. if it is out of range, u need to find the supply output of which output voltage is in low resistance.

-check resistance for USB charging connector part. to see which pin is in low or no resistance (in case it is not charging problem cause batt become weak).

just using a DMM meter can solve the problem. try it & good luck!!:)
