I have flashed a V170 with the V171 flash file and now it results in a White Screen when powered on. How do I solve. I do not have a backup of the V170 flashfile.

Hi,

Try to flash it with V170 Main+LP+Flex from support area.

V170_9.8.28_Main_TracFone
V170_9.8.28_LPNA_Fr_Pt_Es
V170_Flex_90_61_1106_TracFone

yes. solved my white screen problem... but phone is still locked.

any idea when unlocking will be available for this model ?

I have tried various v171 and v170 Main+LP+Flex suggested in this forum and no one gave me a normal screen display (all distorted or blank).

Please advise.

Yes, I forgot to mention that these set of files works fine.

But phone keeps locked to Tracfone.

There is alternate way to unlock it after flash phone with these set of files?

hi i usually do not post a lot, but here is my experience unlocking v170 trackphone phone, maybe it will help.
first
use (db9) rs232 cable
batery full charge
and using Moto01_v112
device selection v170,v171,v172,v173
com 1
speed 115200
auto not selected
backup system area cheked
flash
firmware (V171_4[1].4.58_Main.20M)
flex (V171_Flex_90_61_2W01_Vodafone_Nl[1].20F)
language pack (V171_4[1].4.58_LP3_Gr_Pt_Es.20P)
safe mode checked
if u want spanish and 850 1900mhz
after full flash
service sp-unlock
done

turn on
says formatt g****
and ok after

ive done several pieces ok, but remember that beside hw damage, flash or eeprom memory damage, there are dif version lauched for dif countries.
