View Full Version : Lobster Connection error
As with many people using also other tools, I am not able to connect this phone with software, aways error.
My cable is tele-way, and after the error, I opened the cable and checked with the scheme in support area, and its correct.
What could b the solution then ???

Don,t respond on power on when soft tells you to do

Hello,
Please, double check COM port selection, check phone connector (can be dirty and lost contact) and double check cable.
You are using com or usb ? if you are using com forget never work but usb port (left port in box) work 100% :D
Its a new phone checked for pins by connector 100%
cable pin 100%
but dont respond on power on :confused:

If you have a cruiser FTDI usb cable & Lobster ps2 then use it and your problems will be over!!!
It has already been posted many time that there is problem with serial cables, but we use the cruiser uc-10 cable with lobster ps2 and no more problems unlocking this phone!! :)

my vygis supplied lobster cable (teleway) always gave error with connection but the one i got with thunderstorm works a treat, it was supplied by completefone in the uk and works 100% with infinity, vygis and thunderstorm. its an rj45 cable by the way.
