good day bro.. if your unit is 903sh japan youll need to unlock it and flash it with euro files in able to play mp3 and if you dont want to flash your phone youll need to convert those mp3 of yours to mp4 files hmmm i think its .m4a files so that your phone can read it...:)

hiya

am new to this but have had to join in as am having the same problem with my mp3's on my phone. i have tried converting to mp4's and it doesn't seem to work still! spoke to sharp who gave me some info regarding "copyright" issues with mp3's being transferred from computers to phones. they suggested that the files needed changing into "dcf"? how exactly do you do THAT? also vodafone singularly inept at helping. any further clues guys because this phone is going back otherwise!

Cheers

yeah try converting the mp3 files using converter like xilisoft audio/video converter

Thanks Kelsey

does xilisoft convert to dcf? at first look it seems to convert to EVERYTHING else.... but no "dcf" label is hugely obvious.

yeah i haven't seen dcf in the list... try other converter or try other files aside from dcf
