yes my fellow unlocker i totally argree with your comment..we have to make a living from unlocking and repairs and as you know it is a hard job these days.we invest time,money and effort for this purpose and these scroungers get the codes for nothing.WERES THE JUSTICE?

if people from the uk are desprate to get there cl75 unlocked, most shops will do it for £5-£10 which has got to be easier than keep posting on here. anyone with infinity box or jaf (generate online) can unlock them. my personnal opinion is why should i give free codes when i have brought a box to do them, but some kind people may give you the codes, but most won't for the above reason.

Thanks James i would happily go to a shop and pay but i live out in the sticks. and find it hard to get to the nearest town. i would be happy to give some one a payment on here. thnaks for the advice. cheers Daz

You need to ask anyone who has a jaf box (not me), as they get 20 free logs for there server which can unlock cl75 by imei. All other solutions like infinity box (which i have) need to connect directly to the phone with a siemens c55 cable. Maybe if you offered a small payment someone could do it for you, or you could wait for someone to do if for free, but as you see it could take a long time. I was just trying to let people know its possible to unlock at most shops. If you live near the Shropshire area i would do it for you for free, if you brought it around.

Back to subject matter, its apparantly not possible for a UK Siemens CL75 to be unlocked over the phone, they need to be connected up to a Infinty Dongle box for the deed to be done, unless they are Vodafone locked from what I understand. All Virigin or other locked phones need a dongle box to unlock them, so you have to pay £10 to get it done. Here's a couple to places that do:

I concur, probably like many others I only found this forum because I was looking for information on how to get a Virgin supplied Seimens CL75 unlocked.
Since I am not a mobile phone trader, nor one of those people who change phones more often than some change their underwear, I somehow doubt that I would have a sustained interest in communicating here, beyond the time this phone becomes unlocked, unless I can see a profitable reason for doing so.
A question: About what proportion of long term inhabitants of this forum are making money from mobile phones ?, and by comparison how big is the transient population, i.e. those who appear, post for a few weeks and then vanish ? Does anyone have even approximate stats on this ?

In truth, what I want is information to confirm, or refute, the belief I now have that a Virgin supplied Siemens CL75 (poppy) mobile can ONLY be unlocked by connecting it to some sort of dongle.
I have had some people claim that a link in the phone needs to be cut under a microscope. If so, this would absolutely invalidate any warranty that may still exist for any phone.
Others appear to claim that it can be done by connecting it to a dongle.

I think a question or two needs to be asked.
Has ANYONE ever successfully unlocked a Virgin supplied Seimens CL75 just by entering codes from the keypanel ? What about CL75 phones supplied by other networks ?
If anyone has been successful, which network(s) were the phone prior to the unlocking.

I concur, probably like many others I only found this forum because I was looking for information on how to get a Virgin supplied Seimens CL75 unlocked.
Since I am not a mobile phone trader, nor one of those people who change phones more often than some change their underwear, I somehow doubt that I would have a sustained interest in communicating here, beyond the time this phone becomes unlocked, unless I can see a profitable reason for doing so.

I wish I could, everyone who does unlocking at all round here wants at least £25 and send the phone away for a large chunk of a week, :confused: and some of them want to cut a link inside the phone - which would absolutely destroy any chance of a warranty repair should one be needed sometime in the next year.

I have had so many different answers from different sources I don't know what to believe. At this stage all I really want for certain is to know if this phone CAN be unlocked just by entering codes from the keypanel.
If it can, I will happily pay a reasonable price for unlock codes.
Without an independant confirmation from someone other than the codes vendor I am cautious about paying money for something I do not know for certain will work.
Remember, this phone is sim-locked to Virgin, IMEI 356328003322513

of course it can be unlocked via codes (code 12 for o2 or code 12 and 32 for virgin) from the jaf server or direct unlocked by infinty with standard c55 serial cable. no need to cut any tracks its not really made by siemens its another platform.

for any more info just search, its all been written many times. not many people are going to give free codes because they use them to make money, would you give them away for free if you paid for them?
