u can convert it with the help of Mp3 to ring tone gold softwware in which there is obption....this software possess all the mobile uploaders...get it from them.....
this sw can convert half size of full mp3 but the quality of sound is always renders while u c0nverting by any mean.....ok

If you compress MP3 the quality will decrease. You can download SOund Forge. load the mp3 and while saving choose a lower bit rate.
