Hi,
First of all, I'm new here, but got drawn here cause of all the sweetness, you guys are awesome! Great stuff!
I read in some of the compatibility lists that Worms World Party is working on 6630 (after multiple tries). I have downloaded it, and would really like to play it, but it just starts up, shows N-Gage screen, and immediatly closes. I tried loads of times, but always the same. I have all the libs installed from the 'all fix'. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

here`s how I made it work:
1. format phone
2. instal all in one os8 fix
3. instal worms world party (sis version)
many times it starts immediately
and almost forgot - color fix by sobol
you can destroy game if you try to install other game....

The all i one os8 fix, is that the same as the ALL FIX? Or where can I download it?
And the Worms World Party, I have a rar'd version so I just copied the System folder. Where could I find the 'sis version'?

Hi thanks for your reply, I tried it, and it worked... once :| It has only worked once and I tried a million times, weird... I didn't install anything after worms world party. I'm going to try to delete the whole lib dir from my mem card, and replace it with worms and then the patch. Do you have any idea why it would work only once? (tried with and without bluetooth, restarted phone, all kinds of stuff)
K I deleted the whole system/libs system/data and system/shareddata maps, filled em with the WWP files, and did the OS8 fix. But still no luck. Its so annoying since it worked once, and now it just keeps giving the nokia screen and quits.... its the best n-gage game imo :@
Edit: I resetted my phone, put the mmc in it, and worms works again... I'l keep you guys updated :D
Ok its all working fine now, I think it was a memory issue. Is there any application (or method) to keep as much freespace as possible on the main memory of the 6630? Offcourse I keep all files off my main memory, but it was empty before, so it might be unnecessary system files which got deleted during format. There must be some way to keep them out of your main memory, cause formatting every week is not a good solution in my opinion.
Edit: It seems that the save games of N-Gage games can be quite big, and are all stored in the main memory's system folder, is there any way to save them on the MMC?
I don`t think that you can keep installation files off the phone mem, but you can reduce them by using unmake sis and copy apps mannualy into system folder (some apps will not work - like smart movie or eti camcorder, so you will have to experiment).....and for the worms, are colors ok?
I just switch to the menu, and turn the color fix on, then the colors are perfect, the whole game runs perfect. But is there anyway to have the N-Gage save files saved to the MMC rather then to the Main memory?
Btw, it works after like 10-20-30 tries haha :)
Well I did a full backup and worms still works perfectly, so it was a mysterious issue :) I have got alot of games already running and they all work great (including worms now, after 20-30 tries :D) except Tony Hawk, King of Fighters and The Roots.
THPS I start and just instantly goes back to menu (not even an N-Gage screen)
The Roots exactly the same -> update added a fix, and turned bluetooth on, game starts, but is unstable at beginning, I did a 'trick' to get it to work at the beginning
-story goes
-choose character and name
-choose multiplayer
-go back, and choose your account
-single player
-new game
Only this way it works for me, otherwise it just quits
King Of Fighters works great in menu's but as soon as the fight starts it goes back to the menu, I read there was a fix for this game?
well, my worms start after 2-4 tries, many times instantly.....(if not, it works after restart)
I didn`t test these games except thps which also worked well (also a sis version not blz)
and don`t have any solution for game saves in c: .....(worms saves are less than 10KB, don`t know about others)
k Thanks for all your help, I found the fix for king of fighters and that also works great now, and The Roots also works great, so its just THPS now :D Could you please give me the 'sis version' of THPS?

My 6630 has some annoying 'key binds', In king of fighters for instance, if 3 buttons are pressed at the same time (like down, left (diagonal) and a 3 (punch) ) it goes to the menu of the game, sometimes even to the main menu of the phone :S

Don't know if your checking this thread yet ;) but if you are, this will really be my last request haha. Could you perhaps give me the worms SIS version? Cause I think that is the reason why starting it on my 6630 takes 20-30 turns, and yours only 2-3. It really gets annoying if you want to play a game of worms, and it takes so much time to start it.

hy! i inslalled worms world party...but when try to play it`s telling me : out of memory! can you tell me what can i do....i have enough memory 5 M internal memory....please help.....i really like this game...(my phone is nokia 6680)
5 MByte is not enough memory! You will need at least 7 MB to make the game work....go to offline mode then restart and check your memory (you can also compress it with fexplorer or wib mem test), if it`s still under 7 MB then you have some app that is eating up your memory....try disabling all applications that starts automaticaly when you power up your phone (dictaphones,call recorders, black listers....) if the memory is still low then you will have to format your phone and start all over again....
thanks for your answer but stiil don`t work....when i enter it shows me the preview image and instantly brings me back to menu....i wiil try to reformat the phone .....and hope it will work.....thanks again! if you have another solution...please post!

you have to use worms sis version (link above) and all in one fix os8......

Actually the WWP works with less than 5M Ram..im using 6670... im still working on the crappy color.. this is because of NGAGE 12bit display whereas new device nowadays comes with 16\24bit display.. not because of *.mpn file but the cause is actually lies inside mophun.dll file... im still working on glimmerati too...for the WWP works only once..the only solution is by deleting the setting.dat under c:\system\apps\6r39.. btw.. i also have tiny apps to increase the ram.. but still under progress.. it works pretty well.. ;)

the game is built for n-gage but you will have to find some version that is not in sis format because of the fixes....only app folder and libs....

can you upload again the os7 fix? i can't run pocket kingdom, ashen, worms and . but THPS, one, elder of the scrolls,pandemonium,rifts(but bad color) and xmen legend worked for me? What fix or patches do i need to install?
