ugh Vaio mess of a mess

Hi all,

Trying to connect my Plantronics 590a headset to my Vaio PCG-Z1VA, updated Widcomm 5.0.1 successfuly! But no matter what I do the blue red system icon says "device not found". Dev Mngr point to /bin gets me nowhere, just the Broadcom Enumerator shows up...no Bluetooth device in Adv Config/diagnostics. Help...is this about firmware now???

Exactly the same problemfor me Alex on my Vaio S2XP. Come on!! Some techno expert must know what to do!!

got some problems also.....

had the whole thing working some time but after trying to upgrade to 5.x.x.2800 the whole thing went bad......

kinda back on square one now ... only good thing is i think there is a HW upgrade ALPS UGPZ6 that has BT2.0+EDR class2 that will fit but , if i can find it somewhere?!!
