help with samsung d510

Guys,
I need help with my Samsung D510. I just had been using it for a month and a couple of days ago, when I tried to make a call, the phone turns off after a couple of secs. I noticed that it seems like the display is still there but there's no backlight.

I have to press the power button to turn it back on again. This has happened for a couple of times already. I'm really worried. I know computers but I don't know anything about mobile phones. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try making a call while the phone is charging?

The display will still show because when an lcd is not properly turned off the text and image will stay there for a few seconds.

Make sure battery has very clean contacts. Try new battery.

Also try flashing new software.

If all fails then it seems that rf/pa ic is draining too much current.
