Hi Guys,

I am brand brand new guy here so forgive my ignorance. :)

I have a Belkin F8T001 V2 dongle. I tried and installed the latest 5.1.0.1100 and screw it up. It doesn't seem to work on my dongle. Even worse, it didn't work either when I tried to reverse back to the original driver that I have.

Anyone has success upgrade on this particular dongle? Would you tell me which version of Widcomm should I use and what is the steps?

Thanks a million!!!

Answering my own question hoping it would help people with same issue. :)

I finally tried the patched bluesoil and it worked like a charm!!! Bluesoil has much more VID listed in the inf file, covering most of the dongles, I think. After the installation, my Belkin works with my Plantronic 320 and Logitech Ipod Wireless headphone.

The bluesoil software is very easy to use. It kicks out MS bluetooth driver automatically. Connection is of very good quality. I am very impressed!

Now, the question--the established BT network shows tranmit speed 3M bps, when I copied a file to my cellphone, it showed only like 8-9k bps. Is that normal?

Thanks,

yz313

Just want to thank yz313 who pointed out Bluesoleil VOIP. It worked great for Belkin Bluetooth USB adapter. Highly recommeded.
