Hey guys, i bought a laptop (Asus A6JA-Q014H) and it came with a Bluetooth Stack by Toshiba drivers. I was trying to configure Control Freak to work with it but i was never able to. I tried installing a WIDCOMM drivers as well but it never detected my bluetooth device (i even modified one ini file with my USB info but didnt work either). Does anyone know a driver that works with my laptop and with Control Freak? Or in last case, how can i install the windows bluetooth drivers?
Or if you know a Remote Desktop utility that works with the Toshiba Stack, that would work as well :p
Thanks in advance.

Sorry for bumping this but i really need some help with this one :S
Hi there,
I'm using ASUS V6V with Toshiba Bluetooth
First i've been using Toshiba Stack Driver and Utility which is not working well with several app.
I've been trying to switch to Windows Driver. It is included with SP2. I've try toshiba website which tell me to uninstall and install their stuff called Bluetooth Monitor 2. It is not working and trying to do something i don't know.
I've fixed it by uninstall all Toshiba Stuff. And found out that there're one yellow question mark in Device Manager if it's toshiba driver it would be Bluetooth CSR something like that. Uninstall it and let it be some unknown device
You can check the Device Instance ID in driver property, mine is USB\VID_044E&PID_3001\??? never mind the ??? just use USB\VID_044E&PID_3001. and i open bth.inf in c:\windows\inf\ and modified the file by Add Another line following
Alps Bluetooth USB Adapter= BthUsb, USB\Vid_044e&Pid_3006
with
Alps Bluetooth USB Adapter= BthUsb, USB\VID_044E&PID_3001
Save it
and try to install the driver for that yellow device again. It would result in Windows Finding the device driver and enable the windows bluetooth control panel which is working very well for me right now.

In case your Toshiba drivers are a build before 4.00.35, you might want to get the latest version from http://www.GSMhosting.com/vbb/showpost.php?p=1908847&postcount=7
Both the latest BlueSoleil and WIDComm drivers are included as well but, maybe more important in your case, a very useful guide plus tips & tricks.
