Brother just go in manager and uninstall it

install sysfile explorer in C: apps delete smartgau....... folder then go in install folder delete log file also delete smartgu..... from install folder to if manager no working ... hope this help you ;)

i think this mkmaks is only interested in showing off his collections. else why he shud protect with a password that never works. i dnloded a file called "160 Bollywood Polyphonic Tones pack.rar" and tried to unrar with both the password given by him i.e. mkmaks29 and mkmaks. but neither of them worked. what shud one do.........

I wasnt able to access the second link though...I tried password as kate/KATE

also I hear lite disturbance when I try to increase/decrease the volume in it.

Also whenever I receive any sms......mp3 stops and again I have to start playing the song all over........not the same case with my friend's UltraMp3

is there any way we can allow it to pause rather than stop when an sms comes..

No Sana that isnt working.
I got a warnign as not compatable ... I am using 6600.
But still I installed it......It doesnt open at all.
UltraMp3 is good.But that has its own issues..

If there is no other option I will just use the way it is.

This is a common problem for nokia 3230.
antivirus s/w uses huge memory. u might be using symantec antivirus.
since 3230 has only 6-8 mb internal memory your mobile gets restarted when memory limit crossed.
remember your MMC card has nothing to do with system memory.

The Symbian S60 and UIQ devices use a midi patchset by Beatnik which is built into the ROM. If you are slightly musical you will be able to tell that this is a highly compressed and reduced patchset.

[Patchset: A file containing samples of the 128 midi instruments and drums needed to play a .mid/midi file. Larger patchsets (for a PC) generally have multiple samples per instrument as a piano sounds different in one octave to another. Small patchsets (e.g. smartphone) can double up (e.g. a "steel guitar" might use the same as a "nylon guitar" to save space.]

This patchset is stored in read-only ROM memory at Z:\System\Data\Beatnik\ with the name "patches.hsb".

[.hsb files are Headspace Sound Banks.]

Although ROM cannot be deleted or replaced, the Symbian devices have a wonderful feature where if you put the same file in a directory on C: with the same filename and directory path it will load that file instead of the one in ROM.

Therefore, you can upgrade your Symbian device to have a larger (and better sounding) patchset for playing MIDI files by copying a compatible HSB file to C:\System\Data\Beatnik. (You have to create the Beatnik sub-directory first as it doesn't exist on C: by default).

The only place I've found to get patchsets free so far is from Sun Microsystems as they also use the exact same format for their Java patchsets.

The default patchset in your Symbian phone is about 100-170k (depending if UIQ or S60 etc).

2. Extract
3. Rename .gm file to patches.hsb
4. Copy to folder C:\System\Data\Beatnik

Notes:
- I've found you don't need to restart the device for changes to take effect after you've restarted the first time. e.g. to go back to normal, just rename patches.hsb in your C: drive to patches-tmp.hsb etc and you'll have the built-in patchset back.
- There is a considerable delay in opening midi files as it loads the new patchset into ram each time.
- This could impinge on copyrights of the patchsets but I don't see how... just don't hold me responsible

what about if we suggest to use "Xvid M-peg 4 codec" instead of using "Xvid Encoder"...

it will give ur video as well as audio a gr8 clarity .....

setting: (download the Xvid m-peg codec which is attached to tis thread)
1) double click to install.
2) open your smart movie converter
3) click on "configure" button
4) click on scrow down button and choose Xcid M-peg4 codec

Hi, Actually this worked for me for some part. I am in Karnataka, bangalore (India). I am having Airtel prepaid Life time validity. Actually I am able to make a sucessfull connection with Bluetooth (116 KBPS) and USB (460 KBPS) but the strange thing is that after connection is active you will get a confirmation from pc that the connection is done and you can check the status of the connection. Mobile (3230) will show GPRS connection, but the thing is that nothing actually loads, not even a single page will be loaded!! :confused: If you ping nothing comes back 100% lost !!!
I am not able to understand this, are you still using the same type of connection? or you think Airtel have closed this hole?

By the way thank you a lot for your hardwork in maintaining this thread...

HERE IS ANOTHER TRICK TO USE FREE INTERNET USING AIRTEL LIVE..
WORKED FOR ME....I AM POSTPAID USER.

Access NET for FREE using AIRTEL LIVE:->

Access net with MOBILE PHONE using Airtel Live:

Requirement:-

1. a net browser preferably Opera.
2. nokia symbian phone, preferably s60 series(tried on it )

Procedure:-

1. Go to ur connection settings and make a new internet profile using the default settings of airtel live. name that new profile as nething; change the home page of that profile to nething u like.

2. Go to ur Opera browser and set the default connection as AIRTEL LIVE. this is the original settings u received thru airtel.

3. Go to the services(in n6600) and Web(N6630) and change the default profile for connection as nething u want.

**Note: always make sure that ur access point is airtelfun.com

Apply:-

1. Open Opera and u will see that homepage of Airtel Live is opened. Minimize the application.

2. Now open web using the duplicate Profile and u will see that two gprs connections will work simultaneously and at the web or the services page it will show "Unable to connect" or any error. well thats the signal of ur success.

3. Simply go on the Opera with web on and open any site u want for free. No Charges No nothing.

These settings worked in TamilNadu on pre-paid connections with just Airtel-Live activated. This mite work in other states too...

Access net WITH PC using Airtel Live:

Connect net on PC using your Mobile via USB.

Req:-
Mobile: Any latest mobile will do (preferably Nokia)
Appz: Nokia PC Suite new one.
Service Provider : You need to activate Airtel Live on your mobile. (Airtel Live is a free service)

Modem Driver
Installing the Nokia PC Suite also installs the modem drivers (I used Nokia PC Suite 6.80.20). After PC Suite installation, connect the handset to the USB port on your computer with the DKU-2 cable and Windows XP should automatically detect and install the modem.

Dial Up Connection
Go to Control Panel > Network Connection and create a new connection.
Connect to the Internet > Set up my connection manually > Connect using a dial up modem > Nokia xxxx USB modem >
ISP Name - Any convenient name, Airtel Dialup for example.
Phone Number - *99#
User name and Password - Leave blank.

Init String
Go to Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options > Modems > Nokia xxxx USB Modem > Properties > Advanced. In "extra initialization commmands"enter: AT+CGDCONT=,"IP","airtelfun.com" <cr>

Proxy Server
IE settings as detailed before go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > select Airtel Dialup > Settings > check "Use a proxy server for this connection". Enter address 100.1.200.99 and port 8080.

Firefox Settings
Tools -> Options -> General -> Connection Settings -> Manual Proxy Settings -> Enter Http proxy as 100.1.200.99 and port 8080.

Usage
Don't try to connect to the internet on your mobile phone yet. Connect using the Airtel Dialup connection on your PC. Now open Menu > Web on the mobile phone and open Rip Airtel Live made earlier. It won't open. Go back to your PC and browse the internet!!!!

i'm lost... i only found mfesettings.r12 and satserver.bin on my phone's(6600) system/data so i tried:
changing mfesettings.r12 to mfesettings.r12.lyrics
and
changing satserver.bin to nssdevclk.xdl
and i got a blue screen error (i thought i will only see that on my winxp *lol*) and my phone restarted... do you have any more solutions? TIA
