I have a docomo foma 901i handset and was wondering if furious can unlock this ? is it an nec handset?
I have the nec n8 cable plugged in and windows has recognized it as such (foma 901i) but I dont have the drivers? anyone? lil help? searching resulted in nothing.
I presume i can use the furious nec code reader once the drivers are installed?
Thanks -

yep, if I can come up with some drivers for this I ight be able to get somewhere...
here is a snipit taken from "www.digitalmediaasia dot com"
"Japan’s NEC Corp, NTT DoCoMo Inc and Panasonic Mobile Communications Co Ltd officially announced that they have co-developed a Linux-based OS for third-generation (3G) mobile phone handsets, FOMA 901i series.

NEC's FOMA N901i and Panasonic Mobile's FOMA P901i use MontaVista Linux Consumer Electronics Edition 3.1 as the OS. NEC's N900iL, a handset with a built-in wireless LAN released from NTT DoCoMo on earlier this month also uses the same Linux-embedded OS. NEC, Matsu****a Electric Industrial Co Ltd and Panasonic Mobile Communications have jointly been developing this OS since the announcement of their business partnership in August 2001. It took three years before they finally accomplished the OS. "
