View Full Version : Wmp & Ht820
Hi, I encountered strange problem by playing music after pairing my HT820 with Billionton CSR based BT dongle.
First, only one channel can be heard on my headset when I played music at the window media player 10. However, when I played them on musicmatch, itunes and real player, the playback are OK with good stereo effect.
Second AVCRP works only in WMP10 where I can jump, pause and stop playing. The other media players do not work.
What are possible causes ? I see that it is likely software but how to tweak them to work ?

heya dude.
i've got the exact same setup/product. I had AWFUL support with the software that came with the CD.
uninstall it completly and use new software. New software is found here:=> http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=294359
check that post.
it's working fine for me - in fact, i'm listening to Global Underground 'Sasha' CD as i type this away, in media player using the STERO bluetooth profile.
I have made a simple problem complicated. Actually the problem lies in the WMP10 sound balance setting was mysteriously put to the right ! Totally nothing to do with the bluetooth.

What about using AVRCP to control other players like Winamp ?
'cos WMP10 sucks ...
I've got my HT820 working with a Targus (Broadcom based) dongle, however I get strange cut offs in sound.
I'm using WIDCOMM 5.0.1.2800 installed over the 4.01 that came with the CD. No patching was necessary.
Same headset works fine with my Samsung D600 cell phone, for music as well as for phone calls.
Thanks to ya all for this great forum.

I'm using my HT820 with media player 10 and i also get strange cut offs in the sound. whenever i pause the music for more than 10 seconds or so, when i play it again it will play for one second, then cut out for 5-10, the play for one second again. to get it to play properly again i have to disconnect/reconnect the headset. im using the built in BT in my hp dv8225 laptop, and driver version 5.1.0.1100. does anyone know how to fix this???
