View Full Version : This software doesn't work with any of my (working) cables...
Ok, i haven't got a single phone detected in this software yet. I have tested using: NSBox (standard FTDI box), UFS, also MT-box with COM-emulator.
Every other software, including free and none free are working fine with the same cables and devices.
So what's up with this software? Nothing happens, except phone turns on charging, and some seconds later i get "Timeout"

Please Daniel give us a guide for Samsung cables.......

Something is wrong with your configuration. To tell the truth, usb-smart samsung tool is not a top sw for samsung,but it's working, I have used it on several type of phones, with both UFS and serial data cables too and even usb datacable with ZM60.
Yes, software works and it's cheap.......But no support or guides!
We all here are beta-tester and that's no good...I waste a lot of time to discover and testing software features and cables usage....
Something is wrong with your configuration.
That's what i understand, because all other software can use my cable/boxes. All from original NSDongle, to WinIMEI. After all, it's just simple normal com-ports, and all software should be able to commnicate. But not USB-smart... :( (SE-software works though)

Hi, also with my cables and interfaces it will not work correct.
Lets face it, samsungtool sucks and hangs.
With other programs cables are fine.

i unlocked a s400i today with sam tool and an e860 cable,granted it isnt top notch but at least it works.ive never had any luck with winimei so im tempted to buy an ns pro. as my hwk clone is now useless.

This software is very buggy. It does not indicate properly the processes and operations carried out. However it does unlock many phones. I used it to unlock D807- no indication, no logs, 100% sure the phone was locked, and when I tried new sim it was unlocked. Therefore, sometimes it seem like nothing happened but the phone is unlocked nevertheless. Sometimes the phone will just freeze up and when you try a new SIM the phone is unlocked. This project works but need lots of bug fixes, and yes it hangs a lot!
Well… Flashing is a different story:rolleyes: :)
And one more positive about SamTool:
I have just repaired one X200 with "phone blocked return for servicing".
No other tool could repair it (even HWK last suite can't, but ufsx_sam is a good tool).
So sometimes SamTool for usb_smart can be very useful. Sad, but it needs a lot of bugfixes too.

when i used it to unlock a s400i it gave no indication that it was successful but it was unlocked,i use it through my ufs 3 and to be honest ive had no issue's with any of the usb smart programs not connecting,i must be just lucky i guess.
A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR ZULEA,USB SMART IS THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY UNLOCKER ON THE MARKET.
I am having problems with all samsung that are connect off, they are not detected, and i cant unlock x426 with new version but ver 1.09 works ok ????
