pleez read this!
its not just one of those who-can-help-me-to-unlock-my-phone-questions.

I'm really interested in getting more information about the protection mechanisms of the savvy eeprom-data.

thats what i found out until now:

the binfile is divided in several blocks, i call them "1234"-blocks, coz every block begins with two bytes and then follows "1234" (31 32 33 34)

an example is the imei-block at 200

the first byte of the block is a checksum of all following bytes to the next block, except of ff-bytes

the second byte of the block is a kind of blocktype, at the imei-block it is 01

next four bytes are 31 32 33 34, then follows the blockdata

there are such blocks for imei, graphical logo, text, and so on

The background of my question is, that i have a savvy, which is, with all binfiles i tried, permanently locked.
I think, that the binfile and the phone are fitted together. That means, in a special phone fits only the right binfile, and no other.
I think the phone marks the binfile in a way, that i don't know :-(

Hey specialists (sanchez,...) what do you think?
Is this true so far, or completely wrong or something in beetween?

Maybe we can discuss this topic here in the forum, or anyone can send me information by email.

I'd like to say, that i got no business-interest, i don't sell phones or anything else. But nothing against business :-)

Bye
