Hi M8s.
Just Follow these Few Steps and Edit ur U880 Media to ur Desired Firmware...
All U Need a Hex Editor (Registered) i Prefer Hex WorkShop.
U can Easily Get it From the Most Popular Downloads page of the World.

and keygen from any Crack site .
Open Media File in Hex Editor Search (CTRL+F) change the search type to
"text String "
Just check the attachment
in the Search Box "type"
Code=
and Click OK.
U can See the Result in the Attachment.
Now Just Change the Flex_Country_Code=(Which is ur Firmware)
Like u you Got Hong Kong Firmware Phone Just Change the
Flex_Country_Code=2
Here are Country Codes.
0= UK,
1= IT,
2= HK,
3= SW(sweden),
4= DU(Australia),
5= AU(Austria),
6= DE(denmark)
If you Get any Phone which has out of these Firmwares Don't Flash it.
Otherwise u will get a Black Screen with text "Unavailable Media File"
Hope Nothing is hidden Now :D
Just try it.
U Don't Need to Download Diffrent Media Files again and again.

Required to do a successful flash:
LG u880 (10a or 10b)
The boxed or 3rd party USB Data cable (NOTE: You cannot use Bluetooth!)
The u880 pack (download links above)

The guide beginnings! :
* Run Setup.exe to install the Windows USB driver for LG U880 if you haven't done so already or from the CD.
* Plug in your phone with NO SIM and using the boxed USB cable that came with the phone to the computer and when your computer detects it open "LGMDP_H3G.exe" and select your u880.
* A window will open, click browse next to the option and select these files:
1. AMSS MODEM IMAGE: U880-CODE-MUSEDR-V10b-Feb-08-2006-H3G-IT.bin
2. MEDIA IMAGE: U880-MEDIA-V10b_wm-FEB-08-2006-H3G-UK.bin ** See Below First **
3. MODULE IMAGE: U880-MODULE-V10b_final_unlock_kller_4_all_unlock.bin
Now MEDIA IMAGE: U880-MEDIA-V10b_wm-FEB-08-2006-H3G-UK.bin you must select the correct file for your country in order for this to work. The pack comes with the UK one so you must use a hex editor if your from a differant country to change the file.

3. Hong Kong: 2
4. Sweden: 3

8. Other: Unknown at this time suggestion would be to try 0 (UK in file!) or 7
Select/Tick the option to Erase EFS from the bottom and now sit your phone down and hit start.. It takes around 10 - 15 minutes when it has restarted a few times and it says "Download Complete" or "Download Done" unplug the USB cable from your phone.
* Take off the battery. Put in a 2G sim like an O2-UK one as I tested this with.
* When it comes up it says "USIM LOCKED". Press this on the keypad (nothing will show on screen).142358#*# (or press the SOS key on your phone IF you have it - UK Models don't have it unlocked) if done right your phone will restart and you will be shown the operator at the bottom (O2-UK for example).
* Enjoy!
(Yes 3 Sim Cards still work with no code - just enter the code again with a 2G sim when you turn your phone back on and bingo - still working! )

i'm a female maybe thats why lol
it does not give me the option to save in anyfplder it just saves it. i can see it in the deskstop folder when i do a search but i can't see it once i try to browse and flash the phone. its in my computer alright but the browse do not give the option. i click on the + all the + but nothing is there

i am not a computer notice my dear and i aint trying to spam like you said. if you can't help it might be better to keep your opinions to yourself. i've never had to use winrar and hexeditor before and i think you'll find that not everyone has. you are an expert i see, good for you #the boy has done well#
for those who want to help the question is as follows:
1: i've downloaded the relavant files and extracted the files( i saw how to do this in another forum). when i go and browse i still can't find the individual files saved on deskstop. they are all bunched together and not seperated so can not add and flash.
if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
just to update for those are in the same boat as me. to find the flashes, simply browse the first browse option, choose the file and the rest will be there when you go and browse them.
now i'm out as i've unlocked mine. if anyone else need the flash files that i used email me and i'll send itt to you.
