The latest I've seen is v5.1.0.1100 (I don't believe there is a v5.0.1.1100). v5.1.0.1100 has been working well for me and a number of friends.

Huh, what are you talking about ? The latest one is the 5.0.1.2800
Just check the date of the driver once it's installed and see for yourself wich one is the most recent.

Adi

EDIT : I take it back. Looks like 5.1.0.1100 is the most recent.. actually i'm gonna install it now and confirm the date.

5.0.1.2800 = 4/20/2006
5.1.0.1100 = 4/12/2006

EDIT 2 : Judgin by the dates of the files, it looks like Widcomm might have made an error in the naming of version 5.1.0.1100 as the 5.0.1.2800 looks to be more recent..

Can anyone confirm what's going on ?

Spud, i've just compared both drivers in more details and it seems that the 5.1.0.1100 is the latest version. The help file is updated and more detailed and there are a few things that were missing in 5.0.1.2800. I's say go with the the .1100 version :)

@adisor19:

Hmmm... I will give that stack a shoot ^^

This Logitech Desktop MX5000 is a thorn in my side.

What version do you have on it currently ? I think the Update function in the logitech software should bring it to 5.0.1.2500 by default..

I completely removed any flavour of BT stack and SetPoint to make this "combo" usable.

The last combination I tried was non-BT SetPoint 3.00 release with 5.1.0.1100 stack, but the annoyances that plague this particular product persisted:

- Outrageously CPU intensive driver components (as high as 25% when using it constantly), leading to mouse and keyboard unbearable lag under heavy CPU load (for instance while enconding video or playing full screen 3D games).

- Keyboard LCD "freeze" while performing certain tasks (for instance while showing the progress bar of multimedia tracks).
