I've had a lot of V3's coming in with a "call failed" problem.
I found a solution. You have to replace a chip on the board. Email me for pictures.

u just speed network change to medium and check send caller id and fereconce

I now have 2 phone I repaired this way. Both had the call failed problem, and replaced the chip, and now working fine. Have you tried what mehdi_naghous says in the first reply? I found this just by trial and error. I'm not that good with phones, have no engineering degree, so some of you probably understand a lot more than I do.
For the others that I emailed the pictures to, did you get a good result? Please respond.

dear after cahinging this ic in the picture .. then i tested my phone it was not working till now its damged ........

I have the v3 motorola show no network
The phone is brand new unused ones

I have the "Call Failed" problem. I can't get Motorola to fix it and I am not equiped to solder the chip. I would probably screw it up if I tried--it's been years since I picked up a solder gun.
Also, where would you find the replacement chip?
I am in the netherlands. I anyone willing to fix this for me for resonable price?
