I have a d500 which will not turn on but the keypad lights up when i plug in a charger (phone still does not turn on)
I tried changing flex still no good. What is the problem here and what is the best solution?

i think u have to use good quality flex contact me i can help u.

if u have changed the flexi,make sure its home 100% ,make sure its in all the way and square,i usually take the d500 apart few times b4 i get it right!!or i think that u have damaged yr flexi,trust me i had kpad light only few times,its flexi problem!also check yr connector legs under microscope,goodluck post results.

:cool: all done .... took it apart ..... made the flex make good contact and secured it ....... phone powered up and it is all working ;) cheers
is it possible to change those flexi's socket? I mean both of them, in Main and in LCD? i've got that same problem in D410 and flaxi wont fit, cause the sockets are broken... :(
glad u fixed it m8,u have to treat these cables like yr girl friend!!(very gentle),and yes it is ok 2 change the flexi connectors,i bought mine 2day from www. excell.com here in uk,(but for d500)taking it out is very easy with hot air,about 450 deg c,but boy ,u need practice to put them back on,good job i bought 5,i used 3 b4 i got it right!at the end i couldnt use hot air,cos it got melted,although i had it covered with heat proof tape,i decided to solder them back on,with a bit of practice,its not hard to change them,go for it.

my 3100 nokia cellphone the signal is changing low something no signal what is the problem of this....something is good signal.... thanks.....
