To remove simlock of Samsung N100 I need a ic2 cable.<br />Can somebody please tell me what an ic2 cable is??? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Hi,<br />I would imagine that he means a soic clip on the end of a cable connected to either a pony prog type of device or a serial ic reader, laymens: an 8/16 pin clip that sits on top of IC to enable the editing of information held on it IE sp status<br />by changing locations on the chip you would remove simlock/user lock.

Hi!
AFAIK i2c CABLE is a real CABLE to be connected to the bottom connector of the phone. Some SAMSUNG phone's I2c EEPROM signal lines are connected to the bottom connector, so, using this cable you can read the EEPROM contents from the phone without opening it with a simple EEPROM programmer.
The cable itself seems to be your favorite i2c interface with signal and ground lines connected to the bottom connector.
Here is a SOL for 2100db with this cable (not tested by me!):
Samsung 2100 db solution<br />Turn the phone on<br />Connect a I2C programmer to the bottom connector of the phone <br />PIN 6, 7 GND<br />PIN10 SCL<br />PIN11 SDA<br />Read the 24c128 EEPROM, put 00 from 1C2 to 1CF<br />Write the EEPROM.<br />For information, when line 1C looks like 22 02 01 FF 62 00 F3 ........it means <br />Simlock for 26003 (Idea from Poland).

i add some thing : there is a soft from Vigys witch helpfull.you read eeprom content like our friend chris_ua said and open it with the soft,and you have code directly.

Thank you for info works 100% for reading eeprom 2100 with Pony prog and after that i used Samsungreader v1.0 from Vygis for unlockcode and usercode.
