Try the Samsung Unlocker by Vygis 1.0b...it gives you unlock code and phone code, but you must read the eprom.

Yes. It´s posible by cable :D :D :D
Interface: The same that SGH 600
Soft: Ponyprog
eeprom: If I remember there was an 24C128 but I´m not sure now

try to full reset eeprom with code ( *2767*3855#)
that i use once on samsung sgh 800 and worked

You can change it...
