8380 insert usim "Is it locked" [Archive]

Lg 8380 come from abroad. giving error "insert usim" though sim present or not. Is locked or sim jacket problem in phone??.
more how i can unlock it(i have usb smart) without test point. If tp necessary, i have picture of tp inwhich 3 points are marked with tp. I have to connect all these to ground???

if that phone is new, he will not see 2G sim cards, and you need to patch it.
as you said you ave usb smart, download from support lg3gtool, select there 8380, check UNLOCK ALL NETWORKS box and press do jobs.
in 1-2 minutes, you phone will be unlocked
