i have nokia 3650 upgraded with v4.17 firmware.
There is a network problem, it shows no network coverage.
The problem starts when i upgraded it from old firmware to latest.
All hardwares are working and tested by Repairing centre but no one knows the problem. is it pm file's or firmware problem?

Try with software first, re-write the PM file..........................

For Drop Network we have ONLY 2 SOLUTION
1 = SOFTWARE (FLASH) WITH GOOD pm file

The phone coding on the 3110's are different to the coding used by current networks for example it recognises the O2 network but the coding on the handset understands it to be CELLNET when performing a manual roam. I guess this could relate back to singuler band network opperating system, i don't personally know if the networks have changed it since 1997, it's a possibility.........
The phone in one of my corp cust's but i understood that this was a wild stab in the dark. I have told them that they should upgrade but they are a large uk based charity and they like what they are famillar with.............

Khem, this is very serious and needs very serious approach. 2 nokia 1100 having serious network problem, d network bars flunctuates, somtime it stay long, and disappeared . i wrote d PM, replaced d RX & TX, finaly removed d antenal switch & bridged. Now d network bars comes up & go imidietly i on d set. Pls, stop speaking in ridles & explain all that is wrong & d way out.

Try this 1st: Fix the app close main error :confused:


1) Open your filemanager/explorer
2) Go to c:/system/bootdata & delete FirstBoot.dat

3) Turn off phone & take out your MMC card

4) Turn on phone and put in current time/date

5) Wait for it to boot up then turn off phone again.

6) Put MMC back in and turn on phone.

or Re-Flash the phone

phone, signal is well but..before the light is off,

signal shut down

3/2 The most problems of RX are (when you switch on

the phone and you have not signal

I DONT KNOW IF YOU UNDERSTAND THE DIFERENCE OF 2 CAUSES?

try heating ur network ic with clean flux n then flash it wid good pm .if still not reball ur ic or at last change it

i have a 7710 which only once fell,

after takin the fall the phone started to hang at the Boot ( nokia hands logo ).
later i gave it in for service at nokia Service centre, they had flashed the phone, but after the flash the phone suddenly has no network. even after inserting a valid sim card.
the Nokia guys kept it for 3 months, and returened it as sayin its unrepairable.
am in India, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
Well according to my Knowledge the ppl up In nokia here r not even qualified to format a phone as they dont respond to any technical complaints.

Ive tried Flashin the Phone using Nokia Software Updater But the Model is not supported.

Flashing using Box or other stuff isnt available here yet.

ive tried Formatting the phone by *7370# but still no luck.

when plugged in it show's " Not Charging"

Other Functions r workin " camera, music player ...etc

i've tried to replace vco as well but its gettin worst its from other phone..
the phone ring tone become slow.. something like the time crystal damaged in 3310 and 8250 ringtone slow and network weak..

just flash in jaf with letest version do not write pm after flash

2 days phone worked properly but now suddently network comming and going
some times we can take the calls too, some other time it is gratually dropping
