Hey guys. I've found out that u can install new fonts on uiq 3 devices. Mine is a w950 and here's how i did it. First i created a folder name Resource in the media memory and then created a folder named Fonts in the Resource folder and then copies some fonts from the pc and pasted it there Thats all. I did it coz i wanted to browse some websites which uses different fonts. Thanks

Here is the way to change the font:

Well, that's the JAVA version and in IMHO horrible to work with (no offense to the poster). No touch screen support and a terrible GUI to play with. I'm waiting for a serial for the UIQ3 version too. One day....

fonts are just for looks. whatever benefit you get from your pc is the same as in your phone. unless we're talking about other language fonts here...

Guys, Worldmate Pro is giving me a hard time. Can someone confirm the registration steps?
1. Upload the latest .sis (file size: 1.069.296 v3.50.07)
2. Activation details: thang@hoang.com (username) boss199 (password) and activation code BLANK, correct?
3. Submit: Connect to internet. Mine fails registration...
4. Retried... worked! Great.

Hello again :D. Has anyone noticed that the fonts you install wont appear in DocumentsToGo? I've found out how u can install fonts for DocumentsToGo. If u have installed DocsToGo in the phone memory, you will need a file browser that can browse system files. I recommend SwissManager Pro. What you have to do is connect the phone to a pc and copy some fonts to the Memory Stick or Media Memory. Dont copy them to Resource\Fonts. Copy them to the root or some other folder. Then open SwissManager and browse to the folder where you copied the fonts, copy the fonts from there, Then browse to C:\System\Apps\DocsToGoCommon and paste it there. Thats it. Thanks

amarshah: you need to be online because when you click the REGISTER Button it will ask for the number that you had registered. it then connectst to the server and updates your software. the register button will then become UPDATE button (for updating virus list)

UIQ3 version is available from the makers website. Have a look here... http://jdictionary-mobile.com/downloads/uiq3/Factbook_UIQ3.SIS

The factbook software is version 3.2... i wonder if the same key would work on a older uiq3 version (if it exists at all). Maybe v3.2 is the first version for UIQ3.

Thanks for the serials but to avoid disillusioned forum users please rename the World Factbook UIQ3 serial to something like "World Factbook Java 3". The serial and information ONLY works with the JAVA version and not with the version specially created for UIQ3 phones. For UIQ3 there never was a version 2.6, the first UIQ3 version of World Factbook had version number 3.0.

gafleh, you can reset to the factory preset by doing the following: Tools>Control Panel>Other>Master Reset. make sure you backup your apps and files not on your memory card. if that doesn't work try upgrading your firmware. That being said this is an app for uiq3 forum though not a troubleshooting forum.......

Here's a fairly easy hack that I found for Tube 2 on another forum from someone called USHDD. It works 100 %, hats off to him for this hack!

Here's how it goes:

1. First download the free tube engine, v1.03 attached here for you
2. Then find the maps you want

3. Download any of the trial versions.
4. Next install the engine and the map on to your phone (recommend the memory card)
5. Now ither using a memory card reader or the phone in File Transfer Mode. Find \Media files\Other\Tube 2 maps\[mapname].vmp (not the O.vmp version) and open it with a Hex Editor - get it here:

6. Get right to the end of the file, and you should see either 4 random numbers (***x), 8 with a dot in the middle (***x.***x) or even 12 with two dots (***x.***x.***x).
7. Change these to digits to 0 (eg 0000 or 0000.0000 or 0000.0000.0000)
8. Now open the Tube 2 application.
9. Select the map.
10. It will ask you to register, enter activation code 00000
All future maps hacked in the same way should now work.

Right click it (the icon), go to properties, and then go to whatever tab it is on top (i think it's compatibility) and change it to run in win 95 mode.

tweakpeaks works fine in my phone. as for kernel errors, bear with it. that happens sometimes even if you dont install the software that you think is causing it. upgrading to latest firmware does the trick.

Have you tried the serial yourself? I'm not sure whether it's working or not. After entering the given serial there's nothing stating it's registered on the screen.

gearoid111: the code does not work. the same happens with the old serial for swiss manager pro but the latest serial for swiss manager pro 1.3 provided here was right because when you go to ABOUT, there is no input for registration anymore so it means it was the right serial

the difference using tweak peaks is that your phone displays get faster. there are no more animations shown. it gets straight to the point. i like it. the phone should have a built in option for this. animation uses resources. good app tweak peaks.. it helps..

Last time I worked it out by installing the latest trial version from the developer's web site and then register with the same code/crack from earlier working version through GPRS/Wifi. Good luck.

I tried it both on my P990i and M600i, entered the serial, and had "thank you" appearing on the screen. I thought it'd been registered.
Later I set the date a month ahead and rerun the app. What I got was the sentence "Trial expired, please register". What's wrong with my both phones? And what do you mean by "TweakPeak is yet ON"?

I have it, but i`m stay using build-in e-mail messanger. For me it much more comfortable.
If you have problems with install it - just reset your system date to... 10.10.2006 than install it. After setup change date to current.

i dont have any problem in getting weather updates. try chaning the internet connection u r using. go to more menu, go to settings, tap setup connection from there select the internet connection u want to use.

I`m too. They write down all user serials and if serial already persist - weather does`nt send to you. In this situation we have to find keygen, but not just a key.

hey peeps this may be bad news for alot of people but most cracks are no longer working once you've done a firmware update. so either you don't update until the benefits of updating outway the apps and games you have, or buy the stuff..........most of the software is now imei coded and internet activated. i'll try to bring better news next time....

yes. zingmagic's games are not exposed to the public as trials. customers get them as full ****n apps when they buy them. that's the only way to get them (and even try them).. by buying.
