This problem was with the previous R6D23 firmware as well. I guess it was not addressed in the current firmware release.
you might say some sloppy requirement docs being passed to the programmers..
Thanks Athrmansoor, i thought my p990 only had this. Hope they willlcorrect this in the next update

cool.i hope this gets cracked. id love a chess game.

appz by zingmagic like its chess game run slow after some time. they said it was because of sony's firmware. even updating to the latest firmware doesnt do the trick. theyd have to send you an updated version of their games. havent seen a new version of any zingmagic game ever since. :D

I agree with you. zingmagic chess is slow. This one is quite good. I'm waiting for someone to crack this :D

Btw there is a new version of swissmanager. its v1.60. Anybody got a key for this?

Dude if you have the earlier version installed with the key.. Just install the 1.60 it gets registered with the same key.

When I installed 1.60 I found the message whether I would like to upgrade from earlier version (1.51) and I click yes.
The installation process is done, but I cannot use the same registered number I used for the earlier version. It says invalid code.
Anybody can assist, please..

I had a registered version of 1.51. I installed 1.6 over the 1.51. When the installation finished and I started SMP, a page popped up saying the registration has changed and that my new code is "62470". If I look at the software now, it just says "registered".

Uninstall SMP.
Install SMP 1.51 put in code B16105A0277A
Install SMP1.60.

Simple as it can get..

Yeah??? Are you trying to pull my leg??? This does NOT work! If it really did, explain because I did try it like described with that 'new' 151 # and after wards it stays Unregistered as with that other # that floated around in the forums.

SMP people read those forums too and implement in the next update that those numbers are blocked.

I have downloaded SMP 1.60 and do what is instructed on the installation process (install smp 1.51, and uninstall it).
Basically I have installed SMP 1.60 and it runs. But when I click on the status, there's a column which I should fill the registration number.
And I did not see the notification that the SMP 1.60 is registered.

Any advice, please..

have seen it and looked a bit into it. problem is that it's not a skin but a java application you run which gives you the look and feel of the iphone. I don't think its that usefull considering the RAM etc. - but very well done indeed

I searched for it couple of weeks ago when the iphone hit the streets, but I think it's more like a techdemo for the framework and they don't sell it - maybe never will - perhaps copyrights etc. :confused:

Anyway, I see you guys are looking for Worldmate for p990i and I have it already on my p990i. Fully working!!!

When you install it, you need to enter an email address and password. I used the same as when I had the cracked version for the HTC Tytn from this site.

It doesn't work anymore,if it does the software is only trial version for 30 days,there's no crack out there so far, to continue to use it the crack has to be able to bypass their server for updates such as weather or airline's flight info and Worldmate is useless after 30 days of trial if no updates.

i had to run download the update service from sonyericsson's web site and run it on my phone. The program will prompt you. You will need the usb cable. If you are running vista you will have to download the new pc suite first. Extract the files with winrar. Install the version without the the 64-bit. If you have not saved the data on your phone it will be lost.

Another way that I have found about to change your CDA simply by using the SonyErisccon Update Service...
Here are the instructions:

The process requires replacing two specific files in a folder named blob_fs which is located in SEUS installation folder.

System Requirements

* XVI32 Hex Editor (http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/freeware/xvi32/xvi32.htm)
* Sony Ericsson Update Service software
* DCU-60 USB Cable

The Steps

* 1. Install SEUS, back-up phone data and fully-charge phone
* 2. Update (or force update) P1i firmware to its latest (1st update)
* 3. Download and extract P1i.rar from here

* 4. Determine the files to be replaced in blob_fs folder
* 5. Rename two files from downloaded archive (step #3)
* 6. Replace two files in blob_fs folder with files contained in the extracted archive (step #3)
* 7. Force update P1i firmware (2nd update)
* 8. Finally, force update P1i firmware again (3rd update, now for the new firmware)

How To Determine The Files To Be Replaced (the tricky part):
Two files are needed to be replaced in the blob_fs folder. But the names and size of these files differ from one firmware to the other.

In my old blob_fs folder, I sorted the files by size and I had like 11 1k files...
Now you'll have to compare them to the P1i WG1 downloaded files which are also of a 1k but of a number of 8.
I had 6 identical files by name and 2 that I couldn't find in the blob_fs folder...
To identify these 2 files, I had to use the XVI32 Hex Editor.
Now you should forget about the 6 identical files to be able to determine the exact files to be replaced in the blob_fs folder and in my case there were 5 files left. (11-6=5)
First go to the P1i WG1 folder and open the first file (of the 2 left) with the editor and write down the first 12 bytes of the file, they should look like this:
E3 4C 88 75 FB 5E CC C0 FD 57 E4 70 (not exactly like this line just an example)

Do the same for the second file...

Now go to the blob_fs folder and begin checking the 5 left files one by one with the hex editor program... 2 out of 5 will have the same line respectively like the 2 left files in P1i extracted folder. (Note that in some CDAs it has been found the the last 2 bytes are being different but consecutive. Ex: E5 instead of E4 in the 11th byte)
Once determined, rename them in the P1i folder just like they are in the blob_fs folder respectively then select all 8 files copy, paste and replace them in the blob_fs folder...

This is it, you'll have to update ur P1i twice after that...
after the first update you'll have 2 CDA lines. (Just an update, it doesn't download anything).
Now run SEUS again, it'll go through the whole download and update progress, this way you'll have the WG1 CDA...

P.S: U can back up your blob_fs folder before messing with it just in case you want to go back to ur old CDA.
