Have any one some practice with this soft? I have heard there are sometimes problems with signal after unlocking (for exmple only on 1800MHz). Can anybody send me this soft, I have here some CD5 and I want to try it. Thanks Honza

you need to open the phone and remove all parts to remove display, then put it back without display, unlock it and then put all back..

Sony CMD 2000
And I have a german new CMD-C5...
...So...Which program unlocking(100%)my phone?

Bontek´s program works only untill version 8.2.For the new versions/8.5/ no solution !
If you want to know version of your CD-5, you must put into the phone right SIM card/D2 card for D2 phone/ and press *#7353273#

i am working on version 8.5
first you have to open the phone screws are very tight.
find oscillator in phone
solder a wire to it and connect other and to ground of cable!! i use pana cable
Run tarce.exe
deconnect oscilllator ground
unlock and everything should be ok
For me didn't work so the struggle continues!! more news SOON

The working :) soft for cd5 ver 8.5 :
Sonytool2001_for_CD5_v8.5.exe protected J_d_6@gmx.net
Sony 8.5 flasher (flash.exe+amdflash.sre)
SonyC5-2_bont3ek8.5
(hint : solution for cd5 with 8.5 sw version::
1. run bontek soft
2. click UNLOCK
3. connect phone without battery
4. connect battery
5. repeat 3&4 steps two times
6. that's all)
CMD CD5 ver.8.5 unlocking by Spear using trace.exe (cable and pic).
Sony C5 by angelo ver 2 (still waiting for password for new cd5 ver 8.5 to enable unlocking !)
That's all for the sony cmd 5 ver 8.5 and of course don't use alf softwares it doesn't work... need pic too !!!
