OK guys here is 100% soloution to unlock cmd5 ver 8.5. i used the s/w by angelo ver 1.1/2.0
click on the button sony is cool u will get message saying can not get the version or un supported version.next step click on unlock
then remove the battery and but back on you must keep repeating this remove the batt and put back on after about 5 goes you r phone is unlocked !!!!!!!!! thats all
i ahve unlocked over 500 phones so this 100% working.
ps: first but another sim card in to the phone so the phone will say simlocked and repeat the above method so then u will know when its unlocked !!!!!!

I try Angelo 2.0...not work for my...i press Sony is cool...it says unknow version...then i press unlock...i get 4 times failed ... remove battery 5x...nothing...still locked i repeat it 10x...nothing...
I thing is it like Bontek software...with it i unlock 4 phones, but another 4 not...

Hi, put in your phone *#SIMLOCK# and tell me is there ,on the end of the information which you will see, "SAT ACTIVATED"? If there is not this message use Bontek software + repair for the battery it works 100% on v8.5 without SAT ACTIVATED.

It's like westerna said!

You can unlock version 8.5 if SAT is not activated. If it's activated you can do nothing with this software.

To check version you must put original simcard, and type:

*#7353273#

and the phone will display version and after version "SAT" if it's activated.
