Hi
I have a NOKIA 6510 ( vodafone sim ) which I am about to replace with another mobile same network ,whenever I put my sim card in the new phone all that appears is one number ??? yet when I put the sim back into the old phone 6510 all my numbers are there ???? / how do I go about transferring my old numbers to my new phone ??? I bought a sim card reader & tried to download them onto my PC but all I got was one number the rest did not appear ??? can anyone help or advise whats the best way or can it be done also is there some other way or sim card reader software or cable I can try , any info or help would be much appreciated .:confused: :confused: :confused:

hallo!

i think there are two ways:

1-put back sim card in old mobile,go in phone book and choose option "copy numbers to sim card"(bcos numbers are saved into the phone and not on sim card) and put sim card in new mobile and u have all ur nrs there.

2-Via Infrared or bluetooth transfer them one after the other onto new mobile.



PS:Note that if you want ur nrs to be always in ur sim card,u must activate the option "save entries to Simcard".This has with nokia one problem:u canīt add any info(e-mail,birthday,notice) to an entry saved to simcard.

And Another good way u can use it with normal cable

U can use agood program for that ( oxgen For nokia phones )

Its agood program to take all ur data from ur phone

and recover it for another phone

and messeges and more ...

just try that program and if u wanna help more

just ask...
