BB 7290 couldn't make phone call after unlock with BB server [Archive]

unlocked with BB-server, code accepted. now the SIM Card menu shows netwokr inactive:

ID: 8901xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Personalization:
SIM Disabled
Network Inactive
Network Subset Disabled
Service Provider Disabled
Corporate Disalbed
Phone Number my phone number

So, I assume my phone should already be unlocked, but when making phone calls, it always says only emergency calls are allowed. tried different SIM cards, all the same problem, even with the original SIM card.
Looks like phone funciton was locked. Could anyone please help!!!

I have refreshed the handheld several times and for sure the radio is on when making phone call, signal is very strong....

then maybe the phone is barred.

I don't think so, before unlocking, I could make phone call by the original T-Mobile SIM card before. after unlocking, both my SIM cards (T-mobile and Rogers) couldn't make phone calls but can still get / send text messages (SMS).

All you did was enter the unlock code right? I dont see how furious logger could have anything to do with your problem??

i have the same probleme and i have'nt found the solution :confused: :confused:

Got one BB with the same problem after unlocking...

The difference is i can receive sms and make emergency calls only...

I think if you go to options/simcard and type mepd you will see disabled next to network.@ FGteam......... how can i detect if the phone is barred or not before unlockiing?

any solution pls i got same problem also what cani do about it cause am using the phone out of US and it cannot be barred in my country but can only make emergency call

try to update ur phone with desktop manager new firmware it will work...:)
