v3 power problem

hello
have problem with v3 motorola,when put batetery phone power on and cant to power off with taster on\off.Change flet 3x,flashed with couple flash files but problem is same.Any idea for this?

V3 power problem.
1---you can power on cell phone ,but can’t use “power on/off “ to cancel
the functions and power off the v3 .
solution ----that caused by PCAP (U 900),change a new PCAP .(99%)
that cause by C 1420 ( POWER _SW protection to GND )
shorted to GND .(1%)
2---you can power on v3 but only stand by a moment (maybe 3 second )
and power off ,the Phone will auto power on and off again.
Solution ----that cause by base-system times 32.768Khz upset so rep it
(Y 900)! (90%)
3---you can power on V3 but when you insert SIM CARD to register
network ,v3 will power off on search for network processing .the v3 will
power on ok without SIM CARD !
solution ---that cause by AlgaeMB (U150 ),because VCO in it so rep it .(90%)

4---the key-pad light will bland off and the phone can’t power on when you
press “power on “key ,Phone can be flash.
Solution ---that cause by signal from MB to keypad-flex cable
(clk ,rest ,vbuck ,cs so on )So use hot-gun to resolder the
keyboard –connector .(90%)don’t high because the 26MHZ
beside connector.it ‘s easy to upset with high temp .

can you help here too: many v3 have charging problem, sometimes not charging at all, sometimes drawing too much power - over 500mA up to 1500mA - do u have easy fix?
I have seen repair with wire from +5volt mini-usb charging connector to extra installed diode to battery + pin. these v3 L7 L6 have a lot of charging problem, I guess motorola undersized the components, so phones dont last too long.

Ok let we talk about consumption about V3.Because many mates don’t know
To separate it from can’t hold charging. At first what is reason cause the PCB
High consumption? That is cause B+ shorted to GND ,but in PCB how many
Spot cause that ?Different phone has different layout and chip but the theory
Are same .
The first the PCB not liquid or physics damage !!
1-PA
2-POWER CHIP (battery supply circuit )
3-CHARGING CIRCUIT
Problem :1-phone high consumption (100ma –1500ma) when you plug in
Charger PIN or connect with Power supply to battery connector (ON
PCB ).General that cause by PA (95%),That easy to fix it .you can take
off PA from PCB and test PCB consumption again , the consumption
how many ?if you fix Cell phone more than one year I think that’s easy
for you .
Problem :2-phone lower consumption (20ma –100ma ).that’s a little difficult
to fix, because That ‘s cause software(20ma –50ma) or PCB
consumption(60ma –100ma ).
2.1-software(20ma –50ma)
You can use PST or RSD or MONSTER to due with it. If you in CHINA
that’s Easy to fix it, you only need use UP-48(flash equipment )
download full flash And write ESN .
2.2-hardware problem (60ma—100ma )
For V3 ,L6, L7 that cause by PA (50%),you can use power supply
(model ) to test PCB and hold it for moment you will easy find which
spot heated .Other 50% cause by some DC amplify and filter-
capacitance(power).
Problem:3-can’t hold charging(battery is ok, J_BATTER_CONNECTOR is ok);at
here I only Talk about V3,
1--Q954 is a switch about VBUS and USB_PWR,when you plug in,PACAP
(T15#) test VBUS in and out a high signal(N13#) to Q954;so Q954
on and out USB_PWR.
2--Q952 is a switch about USB_PWR and V_BP.
3--u950,u951 work and out EMU 2.8v and EMU 3.3v.
4--u1400 work and enable CHRG_DET signal from U916.
5--u912 work and Q953 Q951 Q950 Q958 work so PCB can charging.
6--Q958 charger switch between PCAP and battery.
7--you need to use DC power supplyer to test the changing
consumption.
if your phone drop in water please take over the metal shield and clean the liquid, especially u950 u1200;it's easy liquid under the bottom.

Charging Theory about L6.L7 is same so you need know the layout and circuit schematics
The way not 100% but can help you to fix some phone

Your problematic v3 cause by partially defective Power IC,Try attached solution.R=1K---4.7K.GOOD LUCK.
