hi folks i dont recommend you say anything bad about setool on the so called official site .. i said the support is slow and have now had my ip address blocked from the site by the administrator . so if you think that is good support rush out and buy setool and waste your money .. stick to cruiser the support is far better . :)

I unlocked a w810 and a k608 today with se-tool,it killed them both,The batteries were fully charged.Any ideas.

setool is by far the best se software available and i have them all. i have unlocked/flashed over 1000 phones with it in just over a year and never killed one.

tip: take a few minutes to read the manual and look on there forum.

also setool has the best support available, on par with infinity box, both are way ahead of the rest.

99.9% of the problems are caused by the user, usb-smart has brought loads of prats into the business.

i wasn't referring to anyone in particular, but the fact is that because of the stupid price of usb-smart, many people have entered the phone unlocking/repair business who have no idea what to do if pressing one button doesn't unlock/repair the phone they have.

not once in over 1000 phones. explain your problem, have you downloading and installed in the correct place the rest files? as this is the commanist (if thats how you spell it), problem.

SETool works slightly different to other tools, thats why many people can encounter problems when they had experienced other tools; most problems related to dead phones happends because a bad instalation of the program or hardware problems, software problems can be recovered most of the time.

Are you using Kapersky? older versions of SETool didn't like this program, if you are using last version already, post a screen captuire of the error and/or more info about the problem.

You cannot flash J100 with SETOOL, but can flash with SETOOL Addons called PSTOOL

i have setool and support exe but cant install setool because support exe links to site for software i need the drivers for setool3 to use support how do i get around that and the forum for setool has no drivers on it that i can see.

hi the k610i is a db2020 phone it can only be unlocked via server on setool you need to buy credits to use server but there is no point at the min cos the server has been stopped for unlocking and can only be used for flashing and removing security code .. :) hope this helps

just flash the main with same file from support R1JC002_CXC1250201 and select unlock after flash .. will only loose contacts if you flash fs part

as far as i am aware setool converts the cid to suite your phone when you flash it .. then just flash it and select unlock after flash ... but dont flash fs ... only other option you have is go on setool main support site and request the restore file ... you have more chance of getting it on there than here .. only other way i can think of to save your customers numbers is flash it with any R1JC002 main and then back up his numbers on to a sim card ... then flash with matching main + fs and copy contacts back to phone .. ;)

you do not need any driver for flashing the phone if you have setool box and it is installed properly. you need the drivers for unlocking phones and you can get it from support website.

it is also posted in this form so many times just spear some time and search it.

very easy:
download main and fs from support for your phone according to your phone CID.

select your phone model, in settings select signed mode and complete phone after flash, in sony erricsson tub add both main and fs file, click on flash, hold "C" and insert the cable in the phone.

the phone will be flashed.
