Hi Guys

Installed in my N80 and working perfect....

1. Extract the folowing file to your Mini SD (or whichever memory card u using).
hxxp://rapidshare.de/files/33651432/TomTom_S60_3rd.rar.html

2. Copy your map to your memory card

3. Download the Map Activation Keygen and extract the files to e.g C:\TTNKeygen
hxxp://rapidshare.de/files/33651188/TT6_keygen.rar.html

4. copy (yourcountry.mid) from your map, paste it to C:\TTNKeygen

5. click start -> run -> type cmd -> OK

6. CD C:\TTNKeygen

7. TT6_kg_4_C4Pda.exe yourcountry.mid

8. enter your device id from tomtom ... not imei

9. enter your activation code and here you go you runing tomtom

no it wont work on your n70 its only for the new v3 phones n80 and above

there is lots of tomtom for your phone for free use v5.2 tomtom with a map lower than v6

Hey Dude my understanding of this is you need to do the cracking on your pc...so put the country map.mid in the same folder as the crack and go from there. i'm just doing it as we speak. i'll let you know if that works good luck:D

i made it! it's like you said. put the keygen-folder with your .mid on pc c:\-directory. open dos-console and type in "tt6_....exe Western_and_Central_Europe" for example. then you got the key!;) :) :cool:

use this instructions: thanxx to my friend...
1)make a folder in C:\ to make it easier, call it keygen.
2)Put your .mid file in there and TT6_kg_4_C4Pda.exe in there.
3)Now open command prompt "Start-Programs-Accessories-command prompt
4)Then type as follows cd C:\ [Press Enter]
5)now you wiill have C:\> in command prompt.
6)Then type: cd keygen : You will then see c:\keygen>
7) Then type : TT6_kg_4_C4Pda.exe North_america.mid :
Don't forget the space between .exe and North.
8)then put in your code ID and then enter.

@ Husvik Had same problems, then I got the Guam Map very small map, uploaded that to my mobile to.. And used the mid file from Guam, got the activation key with the keygen.. activated the Guam map... And tomtom works.. :) In tomtom setup, change over to the map you wanted, no need to activate the map :)

I made it!
I activated it using Guam map and now I have both Guam map (which was used for activation) and Italia map on the same mini SD and they both work, you just have to swap them;
by the way, the Guam map is so small that it can always remain in the mini SD together with all the other maps

you need to copy everything that is inside the tom tom folder to the root of your sd card. dont put it in a folder and when you insert your card it will auto install

OK Guys, I've loaded the German and the Guam Map. Can't activate with the keygen. Then I've loaded the Italian mid-File and let the keygen run. After this I've trie the Guam again and it was an other key. With this second key I could start tomtom. And after this I could start the German map with the first generate Key. Strange but it works.....

For those hou couldn't get they'r map activated, this is the trick. ( made by me:D)

1.Download another map ( like Australie or England )

2. dan But it in the Root.

3. Change the name To ......._Map ( ... = your map like Australie becomes Australie_Map)

4. Then activate Like At the first page of this thread.
5. NOu i should activate this map.

6 Now jou go in the menu of your TOMTOM en go to manage maps. And then choose Change map. And you set your map u wanna the use in first place, then its should work perfectly!:D

but after i install the software i start tomtom and then comes that i have to choose the language, this works, then i choose miles or km, then the time, then the voices
it works well but after that the application closes by itself.

Someone here posted the "TT6_kg_4_C4Pda.exe-Solution" wich will not work 4 WM5-Maps.

Is there any other way? Of cousre an other KeyGen?

When you start TomTom the first time and it finds the map on your SD Card it asks you if you want to activate the maps manually or auomatic. Choose manual and TomTom presents you a code -> this is the device ID.

thats right. I´ll see the Device ID, and with the Map-Tool i´ll bekome an activation-code, too.
But the code seems to be wrong. the result is an error message which tells me that I don´t have the right code for this map...

that´s why I´ve asked for another way...

I have downloaded the software copied it my miniSD card, copied the contents of the tomtom folder into the root of the card and installed into my Nokia N80. It worked once and installed the TomTom software but I had to remove that card as it did not have enough capacity. I deleted the original installation on the phone, repeated the same process exactly as the first - nothing. Put the original card in again - nothing. What the flipping heck is happening?

Well All installed, including the GUAM Map, registered fine, went to add another map yet this one asks for activation, the code it gives is the same as the GUAM map... ok lets try the same code - - - Nope! but after i install the software i start tomtom and then comes that i have to choose the language, this works, then i choose miles or km, then the time, then the voices
it works well but after that the application closes by itself.

You'll either have to do:

1. Connect the CA-53 cable to ur N80, and select "Data Transfer" (it can't be done via Nokia Phone Browser). Then copy the files over; OR
2. Remove the miniSD from ur N80, and copy the files onto it using a Card Reader/Writer

I did Option 1. It was easier and I didn't have to open and close that dratted flap :rolleyes:

i think i am going to buy a route66..its been a long time waiting for the cracks for route66 and tomtom6 none of this seems to be working on my n91

Works perfect on a N73.

I copied all the files and folders to the root of my memorycard, I downloaded the Guam map and the Benelux map and put those folders also in the root. When I started TomTom it asked for the activation code for one of the maps, I first tried the Benelux but that didn't work, then tried the Guam map and it was activated. When I changed the map in the preferences to the Benelux map it didn't ask for activation. It works perfect now. :D

To anyone who don't know where to put soft in memorycard answer is put in first place when you click with mouse, for example if you memory card have drive letter on your pc (H), then click on H letter and put all files there, meaninig don't try to put on any other folder in your memory card like system app...or to create own folder for example tomtom folder.

i´vve got a funny (not really...) prob with TTN6 working on WM5.
I have installed TTN6 on my MDA Vario / HTC Wizard with two maps:
Germany and Guam.

The Germany-Map works good for ~60 minutes. then TTN restarts automatically and my Germany-map has killed himself from the memorycard.
It was not listed anymore in the tomtom maps-list.

Reinstalling the germany-map was without any result. TomTom always shows the Guam-Map only. Is there a file i have to delete, like in the voices-map?

is there anybody, who can copy this prob? Somebody an idea?

the guam trick worked for me. however i'm finding when you have to do a large turn (i.e a u turn) it seems to freeze / crash. i'm using a n80 with a 2gig card. has anyone else suffered from this?

Firstly thanks dudes for this ive been checking every day for Route 66 but the Tomtom 6 was amazing didnt think it would be that fast!

Works fin using Tomtom 5.21 maps and everything ok im on an early firmware with N73 and no bluetooth dropout all ok.

Only thing ive noticed im driving and the maps are a tad slow I can go past the turning and then it catches up? Is there anything that can speed up my N73?

I thought it may be my 512mb card but this was in my Mini S XDA and it worked fine. Dont get me wrong this is a good program but the slight delay is a tad anoying anyone help?

you don't have GPS, do ya? if not so you have to buy it to receive signal from satellite.

I need some help please with installing this on my phone...

How do I turn off the security certificate checks on the N73?

I used a card reader to transfer all the folders FROM (not including the TomTom6 Folder:D), to my memory card... I then put the card back into the phone and it tried to auto-install...

But when it started to install it said:

untrusted software found on phone. To install, go to application manager

If I go there, and click "install" on the tomtom6 file, it says this:

Certificate may not yet be valid, is expired, or the phones date setting may be wrong

I have tried allsorts by clicking (in the application manager menu)on- options=>settings=>(then changing "software installation" from the default setting which is "signed only", to "all".... this doesnt help as it still wont install.

I also changed (in the same settings directory)- "online certificate check" from the default which was "On", to "Off".
Still it won't allow me to install the application.

The version of TomTom6 is for the Nokia s60 V3 so I know it's compatible with my phone...(Also... Others around the forum have already got this working on their phones too), so please somebody shed some light on how this works as im blonde :D .... does it show? lol

Anyone know how to disable this certificate checking nonsense?

No Problem. I have just worked out the voices (well sort of) Tom Tom 5 voices work . Copy the data??.chk file of the voice you like to the voices folder and rename it to the same as an existing file, eg. data05.chk is Jane and data04.chk is Tim. So any others that are there would do.

Its our normal "contacts" you have on your fone.. TomTom should be able to take the info from and use it as an adress you can navigate to.. But I can't make it work.. I get the list, from my contacts but TomTom then says its can't use the adress data its wrong somehow?

Hi, need some help. Trying to install TT6 on N80 but unable to transfer files to SD card, stops half way through saying that it can't continue transfer. This is via file manager and data cable, can't use card reader as it will not read my 2Gb card. Anyone got any thoughts?
