E1000 gets very hot & battrylife shortens

Hi i ave 2 moto e1000 fones and they keep getting unusually hot and battry life on every single battry lasts for up to 2 or 3 hours from when or if charging is complete does any1 kn o wot da solution is, cheers peeps

R.E MOTOROLA E1000 KEEPS GETTING HOT & BATTRY SHORTENS, I have a motorola e1000 and mine does the same thing so could some one please give me some info, thanks peeps
