Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use "sim scan" and all the other software needed to clone sims with an "Elvis " programmer? I have a piece of software that can put it into either Phonix or smartmouse mode,but that keeps on saying that it can't see the programmer.Also when trying to run sim scan,i keep getting the message " Fatal Error : Card dosn't send answer to reset".Anyone tell me what is going on????????? <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

delete dex.cfg from the sim scan directory and run sim_scan...

Configure it to 9600 baud

Configure your Elvis to phoenix mode and try to get an ATR this way.

Yes it is possible M8 thats what I use

Try Alfs suggestions above to get ATR - they should work - Use MPSET program to change Elvis into Phoenix mode. If it can't see the programmer try unplugging the power lead for a few soconds then reconnect - also make sure voltage is correct from he supply ( or 12 volts with the centre pin -ve.
