ASIM, anyone used it?

hello all.<br />I was able to get the KI & IMSI using dejan's simscan.<br />I have an old program called ASIM, it is an emulater that uses a simple waffer interface connected to a com port, those of you who are familiar with it, any chance of testing the KI & IMSI using this program, i edited the sim file & inserted my KI & IMSI but i still can not find any network using a startac phone, when trying my 6210, it says simcard rejected.

Any ideas?

It's probably a hardware problem if you have communication speed setup correctly in the .DAT file (8736 Bd for Nokia phones, Delay about 500 - 1000). Check if ASIM recognizes Reset signal (ATR must be sent by ASIM then).<br /> I have updated ASIM with SIM Toolkit support and it works fine.

will u be kind enough to send me the .dat file that worked for you?

The problem is the dat format to be accepted by nokia phones, or i should say any other phone than motorola, this proggy was written originally for motorola & it sends the ATR fine, it stopps though on $702 which is supposed to be a directory entry i guess.

OK, I will send you some working .DAT file (except IMSI and KI of course... ;) ) What version of ASIM do you have? And what is your e-mail address, after the server upgrade I do not see it anymore ?!? :eek:

programmer, i sent you my email twice & still waiting, thanx in advance, i am using asim 3.1 , the delux version i could not run at all for some reason, even the 3.1, i had to disable the cache on my machine before it runs... but I get my startac to recognize the clone sim & fully functional, i could not get it to see a network although i did put my KI & IMSI in the dat file, i would really aprciate a working one, without the ki & imsi ofcourse, but if you send them to me, i promise not to make any free calls with it :) :)
