A Complete Guide To Sim Cloning

I am a Computer hardware Engineer and I started this as a project for my Diploma in 1998. I managed to impress the invigilator by showing the basic things that can do with a simcard reader. I was able to extract the ki in the beginning itself, but due to lack of information or a proper guide i was not able to do the rest of the things. The main issue was with the wafer cards. At first i thought that, with a simcard reader and a used sim card i was able to program the card. But continuous searching provided me the basic knowledge. The next major issue was the availability of wafer cards. I searched almost every corner of india and nobody knows what a Silver Wafer card is. Atlast after 4 years, one of my friends brought me some Silver wafer cards from UK. I searched many forums about sim cloning and i cant find one succeeded from India. But i got some guides from some forums. But those were outdated and use only two simcards in 1 and were bit confusing too. So after experiencing these difficulties, i planned to make a guide for sim cloning. DONT USE THIS GUIDE FOR ANY ILLEGAL PURPOSES. USE THIS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY. Do you have a sim card reader/cloner that you recommend? I see a wide range of prices on ebay an such and I don't really know the differences. I live in the US (if that matters). I was a EE major, but our saying was always "The bigger the blob, the better the job" for soldering. Thanks

try a scan with woron scan. if its comp128V1 only woron scan will continue scan. if its a newer version woron stops scanning

I see. I am new to all of this. So I soldered my SIM CARD READER just few days ago. And I tried to scan for Ki with Sim Scan v2.01 and with Woron Scan v1.09. I read few Dejan's tuts and explanations. He wrote that almost every card from 2000-2002 has a limit of A38 set at 65535. So I scaned my SIM with Sim Scan in normal and Strong Ki modes till A38 reached 65000 then i stopped. That program gave no results. After that I started Woron Scan. It started scanning just fine (so i guess my card is COMP128V1) but after 40000 cypher texts I stopped because i thought that my card is NOT COMP128V1. So do i need to let Woron Scan reach 65535 and keep on running till my Ki will be found? What chances are that my SIM will be destroyed? Thank you for information.

PS Your tutorial does not say anything about settings in Woron Scan. Do I need to set anything?

PPS I downloaded Woron Scan from kievsat forum. So I guess it is the right one.

Yea. I would like to know that too. Although all my scanned cards were comp128v2, I am still interested what that option does.

you downloaded from the right place. you need to set only the correct com port. there is a chance of risk if you reach the limit. anyway its a trial and error. i got only one card destroyed in the process. that too with continuous scanning. anyway try at your own risk.

Which one is the 5R Start pair? I´m choosing 0 or 1 Pair and got no result. (No 2R attack collision found....)
When I`m choosing 6 or 7 Pair I destroy the card. (probably due to too many attemps?)

I think you need a Smartcard Programmer, not only a reader!
You can get a Master CRD for less than 30 EUR or a complete Sim Cloning (USB Programmer and 1 Blank Card) Set for less than 20,-- at EBAY.

I have a Acer Travelmate Notebook with Smart Card Slot, but it is only used for a security card whitch enables the Notebook to start. This slot is not a Storage Drive or Programmer. I´ve tried it and it didn´t succeed.

I am a total newbie to all this so please bear with me. I have a new phone which is locked, could I clone it to use by using my old phone details, aka, are you cloning the phone or the sim? You can construct a reader with the schematic in the guide. you can download the guiode from the first page. or just try ebay or any online shoppin site. you can find one.

almost all links are dead because simcloning is dead, "new" cards (at least three years ago) are v2 cards, so is impossible to extract KI, wonoscan 1.09 is the most powerfull imsi/ki scaner I know, so forget cardinal.

oh men, you´re wasting time... forget simcloning, new v3 cards are realising, so it is impossible decrypt v2, so v3 are more impossible.

There are developing new tool, scaning voltage differecens during attack to extract imsi... so thats for v2... now we ARE ON V3...!!!:(
