1> the cable we hve is a CA-45 cable and not a DLR-3 cable as pointed out earlier by Mr999 sumwhere athe start of the post..it looks like this

3>drivers installed are PL2303 and mobimb3.3 version sent in this link has been installed too...

I hope that 1600 can download voice ringtones. coz it has 1.5mb memory. i have seen in may phone reviews and official site that 1600 has 4.5 mb space. but we have to activate it with some secret code. i think so.
