its not working on 1110 ................... i able to see my phone on the software... but rest ... no folder available.......
like the old version.... we can see the mobile in software... but there is no ring tones folder there...

using DLR-3 cable connection as Fbus cable

dnt worry just plug cable DLR-3 see on which port its communicating then manuly enter port number (on which DLR-3 working ) in fbus connection and restart application

Whenever you found solution for singtone anywhere post it here, Ringtone media studio can convert to ADP format I use it for LG phones but I don't know whether it will work in 1110.

mid tones have to be small and the filename too, but there is some way to put voice songs on 1600, its not arm maybe mp3 or which other format? 1600 comes with a voice song so it support it somehow but how?

listen guys can i upload ringtones to 1600 RH-64 (model number is given under the battery) using CA-45 cable and software mobimb 3.3. Cable is detected by operating system but i can see no connected device, as it was shown at the previous screenshots. Is something wrong with my phone???

Im frm indian tamilnadu.

But when i use mobimb v3.3 with is attached with this thread in the beginning
i can use ringtones for 1's 2's 3's

but i can't download java games in it in older modes such as 6100, 3120 etc.

I have also noticed the advaced option in properties..

1600 comes with one voice tone from factory, so there should be a way to install more. gsmarena specification on 1600 is:
"Ringtones: Type Polyphonic (20 channels), with MP3 grade tones." also nokia website states: "Polyphonic ringing tones with MP3-grade sound" so how to load your own mp3 into 1600?

I have converter .awb format successfully.

a 250 kb wav file is converted as 52kb awb file. and the result is good.

Using NMM converter 2.0 we can also convert .awb files .

Tested. Working. But...

It works for midi, if they are shorter than 20kb. Awb, amr, adpcm wav aren't working. Using MobiMB.

Since you upload to a section where you are supposed just to save your own tunes made by the "compositor", awb may not be supported, neither adpcm, neither arm. If they find a way to circunvent phone's memory and access pre-loaded ringtones, maybe it's possible.

EDIT: I made some samples using Nokia Multimedia Converter, using all AMR and all WBAMR profiles, using a 3s wav sample. All files are inside one zip, if you wanna test, be welcome.

You should use CA-45 (the same model is used fo 6030) data cable and software mobimb v3.3 (or higher). For software see pages 3-5 and 9 of current forum branch.
And more: you have to do nothing with the battery because the cable is to be connected to the outer pop-up port

So, nothing yet about truetones in 1600, right? Well, I have some news.

I found an "update" for MobiMB 3.3, and when I install this update, MobiMB don't show me the "User Tones" folder, bu an "internal folder", I don't remember the name (I give the 1600 to my girlfriend).

I can't copy or see anything in there, but maybe with other models this works. Who nows, maybe we can see the trutones and its formats!

And if we make use of this, plus the trick about show hidden folders in MobiMB (the NOKIA.INI thing)?

I don't have a Nokia to test, good luck for you people!

Hi, if you copy the contents of that "Mobius PX Updater" map to the Common Files/Logomanager map and restart MobiMB, then you will see a map called "Default tones". Before this update it was called "User tones". But...........their both still empty..........

So now what we do ?????

Is their truly a way to see more files inside the NOKIA 1600 ? and a way to remove some of the standard ringtones ?

"User tones" is your tones folder. All tones you buy/make/upload are here. If this folder is empty, then you don't have tones or MobiMB don't support your phone.

"Deafult tones" is, in theory, the folder of tones that come with your phone. I can't see or upload nothing to it, but the idea is use this update in any manner to do this!

Anyone here knows the method to MobiMB show hidden folder, making changes in file NOKIA.INI or editing the registry with "ShowRootFolder"?!

I don't think NOKIA.INI is changed, 1600 is RH-64 and none RH-64 section is found at this file. Maybe the cause is some DLLs.

The change at registry I say is:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mike Bradley\MobiMB
Create a DWORD value called ShowRootFolder and give it value 1
Restart MobiMB

In supported phones, all folders are shown.

Another way: open NOKIA.INI, and go to section of your phone (example: [RH-12]
Paste the following lines at the end of section:
CustomFolder1 = FileTransfer.NkFS2Item:A|
CustomFolder2 = FileTransfer.NkFSItem:A|

A means the "internal drive" of your phone (like in windows, C:\), maybe it use another letter, in this case is "try and error" method.
