The contactless cards are normally magnetic strip cards and you can get the programmer from ebay or search magnetic strip card reader in google or yahoo.

NOOOOOOOOO!!! Contactless cards are cards according its standards and can communciate with reader "over the air". You can use any PC/SC compatible contactless smart card reader and comminicate with card from any Software PC/SC compatible. See card's specs too.

could you please give an example for contactless card rather than a magnetic strip card?. I am actually interested in that type of cards which can read the data over the air.

You mean something like this... http://www1.conrad.de/xl/7000_7999/7500/7510/7512/751242_BB_00_FB.EPS.jpg

RF cards contain a chip that is within a small package and have a (hidden) coil inside to get the necessary power through induction from an external source (to avoid the need for a battery inside the package).

RF cards will be used a lot in the near future as they can be read from distance, are nearly invisible and can not be accessed (for programming) without an authorization code. yes,... the same technology is used in the new passports...

The evaluation kit above is available for abt 70 Euro and contains everything required to "start 'nd play" with this technology... (receiver, antenna, one rf-chip card and rf-keychain).

Google around to find a location to get your own device...
